No problem, my second account is a weaponsmith.
You need 3 Identicle Krayt Tissues (which means all 3 will have the exact same stats, AS WELL AS THE SAME SERIAL NUMBER) be sure to check the serial numbers to ensure that they are the same.
the speed stat on the tissues don't matter for pistols, as a master pistoleer is crazy fast with any gun in his/her hand.
the stat that you should worry about is the max damage. The lowest max damage on Krayt tissues is +30. These are known as base tissues, because they are the absolute lowest stats you'll ever find on them.
Personally, i would suggest not even wasting the tissues, scheme, and barrel unless you've got Krayt tissues with a max damage of +70 or higher. i've heard rumors that Krayt Tissues can go all the way up to +300 max damage, but you'd better have VERY DEEP pockets if you're buying those. personally, +150 max damage is the best tissue i've ever seen.
so here is a complete list of what's needed: (this is taken from the Weaponsmith FAQ)
- 35 Plumbum Iron (50% Cond /50% OQ)
- 18 Ferrous Metal (50% Cond /50% OQ)
- 10 Diatium Copper (50% Cond /50% OQ)
- 7 Metal (50% Cond /50% OQ)
- 2 Identical Blaster Power Handlers (Krayt Tissues go in here, need to waste 1 on factory schematic)
- 1 DE-10 Barrel (preferably use a yellow one)
- 1 Optional Scope
As stated before, most reputable weaponsmiths will already have the metals, as well as other resources needed for the Weapon Scopes and Blaster Power Handlers. So bring the scheme, barrel, and tissues to the weaponsmith and have him/her make the gun.
if the tissues end up coming in more than 3 identicle, give him all the tissues, and ask to buy some other Krayt enhanced weapon too, like a good Geo Sonic Blaster, Republic Blaster, DX2, Scatter, or some other gun. that way the remaining tissues won't go to waste.

I know you can loot the schem from the Black Sun, dunno about the barrel. I'm thinking probably yes.

I've always looted schemes/barrels out of chests, not off the Black Sun and Death Watch NPCs. I think the NPCs drop these as well though.
There are several good guides to DWB in the Game Guides board. Just do a search for Death Watch Bunker there, and you'll find some good guides.
And try to use a yellow named barrel, not a white named one, because the yellow will make a better pistol.
Or you can try to buy a barrel off the trade froums. i know on lowca yellow barrels sell for 1-2 million.
The sole reason that they're so expensive is because of the difficulty in obtaining the parts. As for their power, they are about the best non-enhanced pistol out there. I've never made one of these without adding krayt tissue to it, but I bet base stats come in around 250ish. As I recall geo's come in around 220ish unenhanced (I may be off there, I can't really remember) and republic blasters come in in the low 200's.
