Yeah, a nice lvl 54 version of the 2-h curved sword would be a good start. Also need to make sure there is something craftable at every certification level. Did you realize there is nothing craftable with lvl 54 cert for a swordsman that doesn't require master swordsman? A friend tried to pick up swordsman after he was lvl 54 and found there was nothing to use to earn 2-h exp with... That's messed up.

a quest to forge a hammer into a sword would be cool require a weaponsmiths help maybe get some mods on the sword if the quest was really hard. Doubt it would happen but it would keep weaponsmiths in the loop, and be very cool imho.
