Thread: Looted Weapon Enhancements (Recompiled 11/26/03)
The glands are pretty crappy, so you'll be hard pressed to find a buyer. If you're willing to hold on to them for a while you may find someone who wants them. You could try giving them away, and announcing that on the forums (1cr each on the vendor to help with merchant xp). If you really need the space fast though, just destroy them. Any way you slice it, these are not going to make you any money.
As for the gorax....
Which starport is he north of (I was pretty sure there were two)? When did you see it? Have you been able to reproduce the results? If so, how often have they spawned? Is it static or random?

for the last time (and if you had read thisthread you would have seen it listed) they are replacements for the sword cores... it would be NICE if they were enhancements instead of replacements but then we would have something of use on melee weapons... not likely SOE would allow that...
I have 2 Rancor teeth... +25 min, +75 max, -1.8 speed

I've killed hundreds of Rancors since the last big patch and all I've seen is Segments and Bile as well. I can't say if they are still dropping or not. I gave up killing rancors because the loot is nothing short of rediculous.No body wants/needs bile. I have about 50 jars I can't give away. The segments are ok I guess... for low to mid-grade armor.... definately not high end from what I've seen. The teeth (back when they were dropping) are noting short of a joke. Last ones I looted were +96 damage +2 speed ROFL. The speed increase more than negated the damage increase.
You would think SOE had to pay cash for the loot in this game the way they are so cheap about it. I hope they are prepared for the mass exodus to EQ2 when It comes out. I don't even like Dungeons and Dragons type crap (I lean towards space and guns) but I'm thinking about going to it for several reasons. I know a ton of people who are leaving this game behind in a hurry if it doesn't get better. Two of those accounts will be mine.
I went looking for a Gorax today, but never spotted one. I did a grid search for about 3 hours. Nothing. That doesn't mean they aren't spawning, I've spent that much time looking to Krayts before.
Ran across the good ole Stoneskin Monkey's . 90k ham, Armor, 80-100% protects. Zero loot. lol. Figures. I think we killed about 5 of them before the spawn was tapped. What good is a 90k animal with no loot? I mean, why would anyone stop to kill them. It's no wonder that are teh "loanliest" mob on the kill stats. They are a waste of time.
Anyway, I'm going to spend the next few days exclusively on Endor looking for them. I'll post any results I get. Would be nice if our WS Rep could verify that they are spawning at least.
yes, those are the things used in the glowy lance from the nightsister loot drop schematic. they make much better VKs than what you can get with any other enhancer.
