Wow, I just logged in and saw this. Um, thanks! Hehe, talk about being unprepared...
I want to thank all the past Weaponsmith Corr's for helping our profession along, first of all. I think there is a reason we have been one of the most silent professions, and that's because our Correspondents have always taken good care of us. I only hope I can continue that tradition. Second, thanks to all the Sunrunner faithful who stopped by to congratulate me on this long before I even knew about it. Next I suppose I should thank Tiggs and whoever else was consulted in my selection for taking a chance on a guy who was, at times (hehe, most times), a little volitle in the CU Alpha and JTL Forums. I only erupt in outbursts of passion for what my profession is and this game concept that I love (a Star Wars based galaxy, that is).
Who Am I?
I am Mor-Dan, Master Weaponsmith of about a year now. I have also been a Master Architect and a Master Chef. If you have ever heard of Double Buff Vercupti, well, you're reading a post by its discoverer. I have been involved in JTL Beta and CU Alpha, and that is about the extent of my qualifications, which probably fall short of many of you here, so that is definitely humbling. I have been playing since July 2, 2003, and actually lost a job becaue I spent more time on these forums than I did working, lol. Now I spend more time looking for a job than I do on these forums. Gotta pay the bills, after all.
I want you all to know, weaponsmith and non-weaponsmith, I have an open PM policy. I dont care who you are, if you have a problem with me or with our profession you can be assured if you drop me a PM I will respond as soon as I can. I will also keep an eye out for threads with my name in it to make sure I am keeping up with communications with all of you. I will begin compiling a list of our needs and issues pretty quickly and start this process we call "game development". Thanks again, I appreciate your support, and I hope I can be of at least adequate service. I know the shoes left for me are definitely too big to be filled alone...

Aren't we all??
No no seriously, just kidding.
Best wishes to you in your new position. I'm sure you know the issues anyway, pre-CU components, quest rewards etc etc etc.
Now GET TO WORK!!!!

Grats Mor-Dan. Over on Sunrunner he is easily one of the most respected crafters (not just weaponsmith) due to his excellent goods, excellent information, and excellent service. I am sure you will be a fine correspondent.
