Can't speak to any "crafting" differences but from what I can tell the engineering line only has a few weapons. I don't remember seeing crossover between the classes so I don't think that test is possible. All the "meat and potatos" weapons are in munitions.

              Pre conversion, were these weapons crafted with max damage? Most of mine are not, they're geared more towards minimum HAM. Wonder if that makes a difference?

              Crafting cannot stay as it is, and even if it stays this way at the beginning of live, they will HAVE to change it, as SWG has/had the best crafting of all MMOs.

              Another thing is, if weapons have so low damages it is linked to the speed we hit now, and the difference between Spec hit and Normal hit.

              In this wayi say wait and see, if weapons are capped so quick it will be unbearable and changes will have to occur.
