Thread: POLL: Do you slice your weapons before listing them for sale?

I just made MWS yesterday, and I've yet to make a weapon yet, but the answer will be NO, I will not slice my weapons before hand. If I can't get anything to sell as such, I'll work a deal with a smuggler friend.

Yes All my weapons sold are sliced, I have a "damage" and "Speed" Vendor

Yes - I slice about 50% of a factory run, higher on popular items like ph's.

On that point we agree 100%. Sliced weapons & armor should have be WAY better than standard eqpt., but with a big risk involved.
Until then, I'll get everything sliced that I can.

No - even though my alt was a master smuggler.
Why? Because it means too much work. I don't have the time and patience to establish the right price for each weapon based on the type/quality of the slice.
So the slicer was used only for my personal needs.

Yes- I soldthousands of laser carbines and Laser Rifles on the Bazzar at one time for 6000 credits a pop best on the server- Sharkey

Yes, I did run both venders sliced and unsliced. Finally I quit stocking the unsliced vender except for crated weapons, because of the difference in sales.

Yeah, all my premium stuff is sliced before I list it. The factory stuff isn't sliced, but I make sure to keep every item I stock available in crates of both 5 & 25, and keep the prices low so I can actually move them. ie. 469dmg, 5.3 speed, -28/-28/-28 PHs are 4,100 each. With my main vendor in a fairly active mall only 400m from Dant Mining, I might sell 50 unsliced items in agood week.
We have an up & comming Smuggler in our city. When he gets there, I'll be pulling all my stock to get it sliced, throw out the garbage, and re-listing the good stuff.

My regular run of the mill wepons i don't usually slice.
I almost always slice my special stuff, Like Ackley and Kryat wepons because I wanna see how they end up after sclice (I'm vain that way)
Special Orders for people do not get sliced. I just make it. they take the risk of the slice.
