Did this "fix" even touch testcenter before they stuck in on the live servers?
and since when did mines even need a hotfix? Apparently they needed fixing immediately while we can wait several weeks to fix known exploits.... no rush there I guess.

i found this outtoday by getting informed by our guild weaponsmith . This is bad it may affect the server in a big rate ... some people are very mad already as they need new weapons
well i dont need one now but this is an ASAP matter and must be fixed at once even now i was away to school for 2 hours and i though this would have been repaired but nope . Hope they fix it as soon as they can as i d like a new t21
(i m not looking forward but i want one

I cant beleave this, all the bugs i the game and a hot fox again brakes soemthing but a whole profession, dear me.
I am going to try to get a mail to someone high up in SOE and just let them all know the states of development for the game.
Yes the DEVS have created a great game, but somone/some people are creating things, NOT testing them, releasing them, breaking things, and then not fixing them for ages
Well sometimes when you create something you test it and test some other things but with this game I don't think there is anyway to test everything possible. Although this is a big thing I can understand how it would happen. As I also work on code for a different kinds of games I understand how something like this can happen. You get in a testing zone and forget to test something or you say "The code I canged will have no affect on the other stuff" it happens and then you fix it. I'm sure they will either undo the hotfix or fix the problem within the day. They may have a quality control team but may not be big enough to test everything with every small hot fix who knows not I and I'm sure not you. What are we all going to do when we can't craft weapons for a day. Hmm maybe go do a theme park mission or something els perhaps go outside to a park or something its not like your life is ruined over one bug. Its a game and your customers will understand why you didn't make any weapons today.
This was not a flame to you just my input on the issue.
Yeah... I write software too and I know how easy it is to maybe change a variable here and think you have compensated, delete a line there and have the whole thing just fall down around you.. But even I know (and i've written some shaky code in my time) that you should at least check that the core functionality of the software still works each time you compile your code (heh if it compiles), if you don't check that.. things like this happen.

I'm a software QA engineer and have to concur, bugs get out no matter how much you test, BUT core functionality should always work when you patch. If things are anything like the QA industry in general they are probably understaffed and overworked.

yes but something like this... If you use /next;/next;/next;/createprototype you will make a non-experimented weapon with 1000 Condition and baseline material stats... /createmanufschematic command will not produce a schematic...
only finished weapons (not grenades and parts) are affected...

Hmmm, this might explain why I got a decorative vest when I tried to pull a XG mine from an old crate that was borked earlier this year. /sigh

Naritus is coming down right now too. Hopefully they'll fix all of this nastiness. While it's really honestly needed, I hope they don't roll back to this morning.
