I've got another which is really starting to grate on me, i've had this convo numerous times.
Them: Can you craft me an Acklay PH please I have the bone
Me: Sure
Them: Thanks, it's a 65/65 bone what will the stats be?
Me: If it's 65/65, frankly it's useless. I can craft you a PH using a spare yellow cube and geo gel and it will have the same damage and will be 0.6 faster
Them: But I want an Acklay PH they're the best
Me: Not always, they need higher damage bones for it to make a positive difference. I can craft you a Geo PH which will be better and you can sell the bone.
Them: No it's okay I want an Acklay PH use the bone please.
Me: /sigh Sure, it's your choice

yea, thats right up there with everyone assuming that if an armorsmith is RIS certed, he/she must be great.

That 12 point thing's definitely the worst. With bespin port we never get moderate successes on experimentation (or at least i never do)

12pt + 1000 fs crafting = barely any moderates 
But... it's true, I checked some of my first weapons (PHs) against a 12pt ws, Mine were 5.3 137-471 whereas his was something like 5.5 450 max (approx)

12 points is overrated. +10 accuracy, +100 condition. less chance of moderate success. That's about it.
Moderate successes can be countered with bespin port anyway

My biggest peeve is that people think I pull crates of Imp Dets out my $ss!! I get /tells asking for 30-40 for a custom order and to have them ready for the next day!!
They always are shocked that it will take a 3-5 days to fill the order!
I have 4 Factories running all the time making components for weapons or smuggling supplies and people THINK they are my ONLY business!
Geesh!!
/pulls out bottle Capt Morgan to numb the senses!
