So r u tryin to tell me "this doesn't work" or is it just the "system is being changed"? There some reason why the developers are letting it through, and I doubt its out there to shaft us specifically cuz in fact, it cannot shaft us specifically.
Have you gotten any stat comparisons on "prepatch weapons" and "postpatch weapons" from a weaponsmith on the test center? I havent seen em, maybe if you got rid of all the "Waaaahs" and the "Mommy!" I could actually find areason.
How does it hurt us when it ultimately hurts the people using them? Either way, the people are stuck with whatever the weaponsmiths make and even if you stock up on all those prepatch weapons, sooner or later the "newer post patch" weapons are going to have to be bought by the combat professions, nothing last forever in this game.
So tell me again, is it really a 'nerf' to us? Or is it because we are so used to the weapons we make now and are afriad if they end up "less powerful" that the people wouldn't buy them anymore? From my point of view, it would be more of a nerf towards the combat professions. They are going to have to buy these "postpatch" weapons someday and we'll contin

you are probably the most stubburn, ignorent naive person i have ever meet. 1st off its not "they" who get hurt. Everyone gets hurt. How do WS's get hurt by this? OK MR smart ass ill break it down for youright now.
Iam a 1 1/2 week master WS. Currently my weapons are decent right? Are you still with me cause i know your pretty slow..ok onward. So how can you justify me being able to run a buisness with someone who has MILLIONS AND MILLIONS of resources that are TOP quality stuff that only spawns every few months? Thats not even the big part. I can deal with not being the best WS around. Expecially since only a lil more then a week at master. What i cant take is that after this patch goes through the "smart" crafters as TH says, should STOCK up on ALL PRE NERF WEAPONS and components. What does this do for the economy you ask? Well considering that say there is about 50 5+ month master WS's out ok. Now if those 50 make say a crate of 75 weapons for each weapon thats a total of375 PRE NERF weapons for one thing. Now fine thats MIGHT BE feasable. Now what about the extra components they make? which can produce say another 100 of those weapons. Thats 475. Now what about the schematics they stock up on? well most people have schematics for 1000 makes in a factory. Do you get where iam goin with this? Pre nerf weapons and armor will flood the streets and people will be paying and buying for millions. So therefor the lucky smiths that have been masters for awhile and stocked up on good stuff will DESTROY any chances of any new WS or AS coming. I am not sayin good for them, hey they have been masters awhile so they reap the benefit good for them. But the people this WILL kill are the new smiths. SO before your ignorent lil ass decides to flame a WHOLE colaboration of WeaponSmiths, maybe you should realize the facts and try educating yourself and seeing things from ANOTHERS point of view. Frankly people like you piss me off and iam not wasting another minute on you.....

Rock on!!! I am a master Weaponsmith who is stocked up on schematics and crates...Am I happy? NO!!!!
This is baaaaaad for the community and I am not happy about my best weapons coming from a box in the future...It takes all the fun out of crafting. I do not care about millions of credits...I care about my profession.
Once again...
STOP THIS NERF!!!!
And: Here is the thing that's really starting to bug me.
Personally, I like to see forward progress - I play a game for 3 months, 6 months, a year, and my characters get better at stuff.
Here - you max a character in days or weeks, depending on what you're playing. After that - no forward progress.
Now, enter the Nerfs. As in "I'm weaker and less effective than I was 1 month into the game." That kinda stinks.
In most games, the occasional nerf is OK because, as long as you're growing, any setbacks are temporary. In SWG, setbacks are permanent. Hard work counts for 0%, the whims of the developer count for 100%. We get all the work and no reward.
Kinda makes you wonder why anyone sticks around this game.
