I'm not a high volume dealer. I try to make runs of 30-50 of each weapon and they usaly keep me stocked for a month or so unless we get a new resource that just blows away the old stuff. My sale seem to run in a pattren. I'll sell 1-2 weapons a day for a 1 1/2 -2 weeks. Then get 2 or so days when I sell like crazy and make about 1 mil over those 2 days. My normal operating budget to 750k-1.5 mil. I have hit 3mil once, but blew half that on a +10 skill tape that I thought I needed. (weapons improved but sales are same). All in all I'm prob the poorest WS on radiant and have been around since november.
I would be tickled pink to see over 2 mil just once more.

10 mill in 2 day's with my new run of T21's currently being amoungst the best on the chimaera server.
I sell only in factory crates of 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 in any weapon.
People like that I think, and I will happily make a run off of 5 weapons for anyone who wants it, which keeps people comign to me. I have had 2 orders for 99 T21's in the past 2 days which generates a lot of money.
Apart from this however, my vendor sales are poor as I do not advertise my vendor at all apart from in my sig, and from my vendor I only sell around 40-100k a day.

Being one of the oldest master WS on my server I probably sell as many weapons as I can stock. Two days of factory runs and slicing (I sell 95% sliced weapons), rarely lasts me through the week.I can easily sell 5-10mil per restock without trying. Certain things like VK's I can post 50 of at a time and still sell out in less than a week. On average I go through 300+ weapons a week if I restocked up to 500+ weapons to have a good selection.

I have 2 accounts, the second account I got about 3 and a half months ago, Main account is a Smuggler, alt account is Weaponsmith, armorsmith, merchant. My main (smuggler) was a MCM for a long time, but got tired of that, so made her a smuggler at the same time I got the second account, so I have been grinding both to master as fast as I can, (neither is much good till master anyway) but, as for my Weaponsmith (also master artisan) he made his first weapons, weak as they are this past monday, and because of my late start into the business, I have been selling Smuggler items and Master artisan stuff and resources to pay for stuff. I have made from the beginning about 1 Million total, but sorry to say that when I started Spamming (which I hate doing) that my business went 10 fold, I can hardly manufacture enough stuff to keep my venders full. But only way to get a start in the bus. Sorry if so many disapprove of spamming, but for some it is the only way to start.

Sigh I am lucky to clear 25k a day it usually ranges from 0-100k (100k is rare tho generally means I have sold a few T21's or RL)!

Nevermind Griz, Im sure with an attitude like that most newbs will be too scared to post anyway. Yeah I know it happens a lot, but f-f-s, just give it a rest, try offering some helpful advice, or better yet, just dont post.
Now, to the main poster, anywhere from 150k - 1.5/2mil per day. I cant pick the days I'll sell a lot, and most times I cant pick what will sell, except for T21s, which regardless of price always seem to fly off the vendor.

anyway shouldn't how much you make per day also be related to the state of the economy on your server? seems like prices on flurry tend to be pretty low in general.

A new WS will only make a bunch of credits if he advertises right and had good word of mouth referrals. Older crafters have loyal customrs that visit their shop "first" or "only" and whenever friends need weapons e-mail off a waypoint and say "go here, he's thebest".
Not everyone wants the best, some times people want cheap, you need to figure out what your target customer is and cater to that.

Hmm, sadly with never advertising and moving my shop about 5 times...i'm at about 100k/week, with the occassional crate order.

Well i have been doing weaponsmithing for about 2 months now and i average about 1 million a day with custom orders and krayt weapons included. The best advice ican giveis to have a separate krayt vendor. People are always looking for good krayt weapons and they sell extremely well. Part of the reason i am making so much after a short amount of time is that i am in one of the very high traffic player city malls on corellia. Plus the fact that the main weaponsmith in the mall retired, gives me a lot more in profits. As far as regular weapons go, i probably average about 500k a day. Of course the main seller is T21's which i sell with a stock for 60k. Overall, i really like the business. It is fun to see 20 emails when you log in and i like talking withpeople about weapons. While you might not make money in the first few months, stick with it. If you provide the weapons, the customers will eventually follow.

I just started smithing on Wanderhome, and if you wanna see what top notch smithing is, you need to come to Wanderhome and check out my competition. Siymon and his partner, Bermag, have vendors fully stocked with top of the line equipment. There areover one hundred weaponson each vendor, and there are several vendors at each location. They have multiple locations throughout the galaxy. Their organization is probably one of the greatest accomplishments in SWG. Oh yeah, they are also filthy rich.

Hehe yes Siyber is definitely tough competition but the both of em are actually veryhelpful to talk to about components and such. I've had talks with Siymon a number of times now where he's given me helpful pointers.
But there are still niches to carve out here. I have done exceedingly well in certain areas. I just had my best day, around 10 million.
