It's useful against mountain squills, which I found out when I went to do the Hermit Quest. Master rifle + good damage sliced berserker = lots of dead squills.

O, forgot to mention the best part, when you pull the trigger. I havnt seen a weapon animation liek it anywhere else in the game. It fires balls of what appears to heat waves condensed into a seiries of rings, very neat.

berserker riflehas not been craftable since publish 9. one of the components is bugged, the CSRs won't swap them for working ones, and the devs are ignoring player complaints as usual.

berserker rifle does heat damage, which is useless against most players as almost all comp armour has around 80% to heat res, pve its comparable to a dxr or t21, they are rare at the minute, i paid 4.1 mil for mine, cool gun to have thought looks gr8 8)

ok, I hear about this all the time and I have even looted a schematic on Valcyn (the server where it wont help me any, figures) and I was curious why people pay outragious prices for this. For example:
http://www.imagedump.com/index.cgi?pick=get&tp=110122
Now dont get me wrong, it looks neat and all, but why is it so expensive? My laser rifle has better stats then this. Is it just because its "Heat"?

Yes and No. I managed to get myself a good Berzerker (447 Max - damage sliced, but without powerup) before they became borked. Anything rare in the game is valuable. But in this case the Heat is helpful in certain situations. Mokks on Dant are susceptible to heat. The Alert Droidekas in the Geo cave are susceptible to heat. But in reality, I don't use it anywhere near as much as my DXR6b or my T21...mainly because it has AP0 if i remember correctly (am at work).
I'm thinking about selling it before they get fixed just to get a lot of money for it ( I paid one million for it just because I wanted one ,,, and that was before they were broken).
Anyone out there with more money than sense that wants to offer me an insane, ridiculous amount of money for a good Berzerker? Condition is currently down to around 720/940 or something in that ballpark.

Yes, the Berserker Rifle is a cool looking piece of crap!
Since its so rare, it should have better stats, but that'll never happen

I have been offered 10 Million for mine, only paid 1.1, I should probly sell it who knows when they will fix it and it will be craftable again. I love walking around with it out, i have yet to see another one that isnt mounted on the wall at some supermall on my server.

I could be wrong but ive been on the corvette like 10-15 times in the last 4 days Ive seen more powerplants than normal and not a single beserker rifle piece. Im halfway thinking the fix is coming soon or the rifle is just going away. I'm hoping for the fix since Ive got quite a few schematics and stabalizers.
