I have quite a few, found a vendor which stocked them frequently. They range from 2.5 speed to 300+ dmg unsliced. Sliced versions have either been 30% dmg or 25-30% speed increase. I have two which are 2.5 speed 400+ dmg and one that's 1.4 speed 300+ dmg and another thats 1.8 speed 300+ dmg.

If you want to do the quest for the schematic head to Mos Entha, it's a pretty easy quest. The only tough part is the end when a Krayt spawns when you open the chest. You don't even have to fight it just warcry it and run.

It'd be nice if we got a weapon that did stun dmg

Sword schems give you 5 uses. Scythes require 2 sword cores of the same serial, aka Factory made. If you want to make a 'good' or 'great' scythe, do the following.

Get at least 5 Yellow Geono Cubes.

Get at least 5 >+10 Solidifying Agent. (Aim for +20 or higher)

Factory make em. Make a scythe. You should hit about 2.6 and a max damage of about 350+ unsliced.

Hey everyone, just a quick, NON-Trade question.

I have a scythe schematic that I received for helping the person on Mos Eisley with. I read the FAQ on the Swordsman board first. Do most of you weaponsmiths carry around the correct components necessary to craft these? I'd like to find a MWS in a starport somewhere to help me with this dilema. Does anyone know what the going rate is to have them perform this, or what I have to have in addition to the schematic?I know nothing of the WS profession & I'd like to find out before I insult someone. Send an ingame /tell tonight to Ozziss if you're on. I'm on the Eclipse server. Thank you for the time & space.

It takes - mmmm, Phrik aluminum, some sorta steel, can't remember which, and 2 geo cores, and the ratings of these needs to be high Shock Resistance. I make them all the time, I give the best of the 2 (that the schematic will make, only 2) to the looter of the schmatic, and I get to sell the other.

No, you can't, the reset at the planetary record keeper is possible only ONCE.

And to your question on finding a WS on a starport: WS don't carry around the 60 named resources they need for weapon building, neither the 10 subcomponents for weapons building or any loot components like power cubes. You have to follow the WS to his workshop or give him your stuff and meet him again later.

Do weaponsmiths usually have the Geo Cores or Powercubes? I've tried several times for 3-4 hours length to get the cores/cubes, but only get white ones. I'd gladly give up a scythe if the weaponsmith can make me 2 decent ones. Thanks for the quick response.

Most of the big bame smiths on your server should have the appropriate resources, but it does take 2 identical Geo sword cores, so you need to either loot 2 good cores, or get a core schematic, 3 Geo cubes (yellow being best for this) and preferebly 3 tubes of the solidifying agent...if you want 2 swords made you need 5 cubes and 5 solidifying agents and the core schematic.

Some weaponsmiths will have a fee for making them, so will want the second schematic as payment...id rather find a smith I could pay to make both. Remember you can reset your tatooine records and go do the quest again to get antoher schematic!

I'm in an odd spot on resetting the missions. I had to reset once due to dying while trying to get the treasure. I did thereset & this time I got the schematic. Can I reset a 3rd time to get the scythe schematic for the 2nd time?

Did a factory run of these 2 days ago as I luckily had 7 yellow cubes and 7 above base pastes, the 2 Hack's came out at:

945 max condition

3.5 speed

150 min

296 max

32.8% wound

+1 @ 0m

-4 @ 3m

+5 @ 5m

Although compared to a scythe it sucks (especially as you only get 1 use of a Hack Schematic, unlike a Scythe's 2), it has ALREADY been "combat balanced" so when that whole big nerf-fest comes along, the Hack (along with the DE10 pistol) won't be altered and the stats won't look so sucky anymore.

To build one you need the schematic, obviously, phrik aluminium and carbonite steel as well as 2 identical geo swordcores. Basically Scythe ingrediants
