Don't barrels require metals with Cd/SR? in which case, the rhodium (trico-something) that's probably going to de-spawn today ranks about the 2nd best that Tempest has seen, at least according to www.enactive.org/swg. I got my rifle barrels to 12-12 with that.

It seems Tempest hads been spoiled lately. Had some 990OQ polymer recently too. It seems like there has always been something of respectable quality to mine every week for the last few months, except for a 2-day gap here and there. There's a good general-pupose polysteel in spawn too, 999CD, 913OQ, 787 SR. Nothing absolutely tops, but respectable for most purposes.

I have the 999sr duralloy. It would be awsome to have a perfect 1000, but how much better is one point?

Ever notice how it all happens at once then nothing for a few weeks.

On Chil it seems like every 3 or 4 spawns it will go crazy and I'll end up needing to cover 2, 3, sometimes 4 different resources. (We just went through that.) Then this week everything is junk, I'm not even bothering to place a single lot because I have better of everything now on the server.

I'm just saying that I've seen this pattern for a long time now, boom then bust, then average for awhile, then BOOM again.

We've been getting great spawns of stuff. 980 o/q Ostrine, 1000 s/r iron, 940ish o/q R. Gas, great duralloy (about 3 different spawns in the last 3-4 months), great duranium (steel and alum), good titanium.

In fact, there has been such good spawns I lots most of my edge (resource wise) with some of the newer smiths... I still have my 800/937 cd/oq phrik alum..... at least until they spawn that (its due).

Also have some good Ryll that I am hording (that's overdue).
