I've looted a bunch of those +20 power capacitors and +20 high velocity feed mechanisms (and vibro motors, but I can figure out where those go. Nym's Elite Pirates actually dropped 2 for me yesterday). What sort of uses do the power capacitors have .. Can the capacitors stack with krayt tissues? is +20 enough to bother putting into a weapon? How many high velocity feed mechanisms does one need for a good tusken rifle? Thanks in advance for your responses and patience.
If enhancements go into the same component, they do not stack. Since both the Power Capacitor and the Krayt Tissue can go into the "Blaster Power-handler", you can only choose one or the other. If you have good access to Krayt Tissues, then you're much better off using Krayt Tissues instead of the Power Capacitors.
Secondly, every weapon that can use High Velocity Feed Mechanisms will only need one. Tusken Rifles only need one, FWG5s only need one, etc. High Velocity Feed Mechanisms enhance the "Projectile Feed Mechanism" component. There is no weapon that uses both the "Projectile Feed Mechanism" and "Blaster Power-handler" (there used to be, but it was nerfed). So the only enhancement you have available for these particular weapons are the HVFM itself.
Personally, I would say the enhancements with only a +20 bonus are not worth the effort. Odds are, you'll be able to pick up a sliced weapon with better stats without all of the frustration. The odds of you getting a perfectly experimented gun with that component and then getting a preferable slice is somewhat slim, but it's ultimately up to you.
The 'Finely Tuned Vibro Motor' that is -.2 speed drops from almost any humanoid NPC in the game. I've looted them from garyn's pirates on Rori, from meatlumps on Corellia.
There is also a abph/bph enhancement (name forgotten
) that is -.2 speed as well and this also drops from the same mobs.
Logix,
Rocket launchers use 8 projectile feed mechanisms.. I dont see people 'enhancing' them, but ive known people with a lot of tissues who would, just to be a pita.
are these new or just not as good to be listed.
balanced feed mech. -0.2
and
large energy capacitor -0.2
just wondering if i should just trash these or not
They've been around just as long as the rest, but they are crap. I don't really have exact data on what drops them, so I haven't listed them until I find out for sure.

Logix, is there anyway you can confirm that gorax actually spawn and are not bugged. Because seriously, after hours and hours and hours of scouring endor, solo and in large groups, we have still NEVER EVER seen one. Talk about a serious waste of time, if the gorax spawns are bugged
. We have been concentrating on the desert area, where the collectors edition book claims they patrol.

I have seen Gorax spawn before the big patch 2 months ago. He would spawn from a quest from one of the maruders in the town. After that patch, he was replaced with a large spider or something. I think Gorax was a bug since the quest refered to a spider. In any case, I haven't seen him since.
This was a quest from the marauder village in the sw area of Endor. The village is a crashed space ship that was remade into a village so there's ship parts used in various area.
As far as I know the Gorax dosn't random spawn. It's part of the Maurader Theme park. You see a Scholar in the Maurader TP and he gives you the missions. So if you do see a Gorax and kill it you killing another person mission. Just an FYI
1. The Gorax does NOT spawn from that mission any more...
2. Endor is one of my favorite mineral harvesting places, and i have yet to see one while surveying the planet
3. If you read the endor loading screens there is one that talks about the Hanadak and the Gorax (something about the Gorax being the masters of the Hanadak), I have yet to try killing any of the Hanadak to try to get a Gorax to spawn from the hanadak lair but the theory is sound... someone may want to organize a PA hunt to try this out (the Hanadak are mean and VERY fast social critters)
