I have the same problem too, last time I checked. Still only takes 3 crystals and nothing else. I'll check again when the server is back up.

I just finished the quest tonight and got the updated schematic and the 6000 credits, so it looks like it was bugged at one point, but now it's fixed. Not sure what to tell people who did it before though, sorry...

Who did the quest when? The quest might have been bugged at one point, and was fixed. Probably experiencing the same issues as the Clone Armour quests. I've got the knives to finish the quest tonight, I'll check to see if I get an updated schematic.

No, unfortunately I don't think that would work. Those crystals are there to grab a single crystal for the Chief Kerritamba...

I would like to say, we were getting crystals one out of every 3-5 kills. After 3 hours and several accomplished quests killing EVERYTHING along the way without a single death we were able to gather over 20 of these crystals.
