Check out the cube thread in the GG forum, the schem for the Obsidian Lance has been found. The schem itself is unlimited use, and the smith must assemble the glowing components in a cube to receive the schem as it is non-tradable.
The glowing components, and the needed weapon components seem to be tradeable.

Well not sure about the weapon schematics, but a painting schematic has been made with the cube and it is not tradeable. So unless some architects buy the expansion those paintings are going to be hella rare. I know I didnt buy the expansion for my archi
