There's actually an exploit that you can use to cap damage, speed, and SAC on a PH, some WS on Bria found it a few days ago...

How do you exploit a Power Hammer?

Pretty easy, find a bug, and use it to your advantage.. Boom, Spoited.

And there are plenty of them so it's not hard.

That Power Hammer is almost certainly exploited. I mean, its not incrementally better than the best I've every seen....its not a lot better.....its so far beyond the best crafted hammer that it screams exploit (the server transfer exploit, most likely).

Based on the condition, the SAC and the Accuracy bonus its pretty clear that it was crafted after the CU. Currently the only way to cap the SAC is to use crafted Reinforcement cores...ideally Geonosian Reinforcement cores made with a good (-13 SAC reduction or better) Red Geonosian Power Cube. The best I've seen was -14 SAC, and the best anyone has claimed to have seen (post-CU) has been -15. Even with perfect resources and a -15 cube, on assembly the power hammer would have a SAC of 98. So it would still take 5 experimentation points to hit the SAC cap, which leaves 7 for damage. But even if it only takes 4points that still leaves you with just 8 for damage. And even if you max the damage line (which would take 9-10pts) the min damage is going to be just over 500...again, that's with perfect resources. So 8pts (even with an Amazing success) isn't going to get the min to the 600 or so this power hammer would seem to need before the slice.

The only way to get seriously high damage is to use acklay bones. And acklay bones don't have any SAC reduction so the only way to lower the SAC (which on assembly would be in the upper 120's) is to dump points into the Effeciency line. And even with perfect resources and maxing that line, the lowest anyone has gotten the SAC was 95. And that would only leave 2-3points for damage or speed. I don't know that anyone can rule out pre-CU exceptional acklay bones, so let's assume that is assembled to 600-1100 or so damage. You're still short of being SAC capped and as the acklay bones don't have a speed mod, the speed will be rather high. And with 3pts in speed you're not going to get anywhere close to that 1.8. I believe a Great Success will drop the speed mod by 0.04 or something like that. Say it assembles to 2.9spd, so a 3pt amazing would put you at around 2.75. (I don't know the speed info off the top of my head, but I'm sure I'm reasonably close).

The only way to get these kind of stats would be if the component had a huge SAC reduction, amazing max AND min damage, and a great speed reduction mod. No power hammer component has ever been found to have anything approaching that.

I'd love to be proven wrong, as I'm a Swordsman myself and I could put something like this to good use. So if anyone has a method of getting that kind of damage, SAC, speed for God's sake, let us all know (other than with the well-documented server transfer exploit, of course). But realistically, this is just flat-out impossible. If someone is going to use an exploit and try to pass it off as a crafted weapon, they should really go for 82 SAC, 500-1040, 2.75spd (unsliced) or something like that that is at least somewhat reasonable. Real unlikely, but with -20 SAC Geo cubes (if they existed) it might be possible. It would send people (including me) to the Geo caves in a heartbeat.

It's not crafted, so it's possible it's a pre-CU Exceptional / Legendary that converted really well.

no pre cu hammer came out with lower than 104 sac, absolutely none. and none came with an accuracy modifier, they are all 0. trust me i had an exceptional pre cu. and a few friends of mine did to. my ham cost before cu was like 45 to health, and 120 was normal for a hammer back then.

most likely a server transfer exploited one. All pre-CU hammers converted with 104 SAC.
