Thread: Weaponsmith resources
I looked through the "penultimate" thread, and didn't see anything about this. Right now I'm 0-2-0-3, however I got a guild supporting me now, and hopefully I'll hit Master Weaponsmith in a couple weeks... but I want to know what resources to start looking out for!
If there is already a post on this floating around, I'm sorry, just link me to it and laugh at me. I've been looking all over for a Weaponsmith Resource guide.

SWGcraft has more info but this list is a good quick reference and invaluable should the website even go down again
http://www.firelikethis.com/resources.ht
Does anyone know how accurate or current this list is? I've been using it for awhile as a guide, but I've noticed some inconsistencies that make me wonder about the validity fo the document.
For example, it lists UT as the important stat for Solid Petro Fuel and Solid Petro Fuel Class 3.
One problem. UT is not a resource stat for KSPF. Which then throws the rest of the document in doubt....

Quite a few of our schematics list 2 requirements even tho the resources only ever have one of them! this could be what is happening etc! If I forget what stat i need etc i either use my crafting tool ingame and check or if I am using my alt I use Foomans tool when i alt-tab out and do it that way!
if you're just starting out, best advice i can give is to look out for all metals with good OQ/Cd, and metals with good SR. That should be you going with a good foundation. You should also look out for the resources used to make adv blaster power handlers because that is the most important advanced component you can use.
in case you're wondering, the adv blaster power handler uses:
ostrine carbonate ore
irolunn reactive gas
phrik aluminium
diatium copper
polymer
Important stats would be 66% cd / 33% OQ, or was it the other way around. i forget, i'm at work and can't check.
Hope this help.
