i would be able to triple cap a de-10 with 180+ish cells(if i get 3 amazings)
btw de-10 cap at 967dmg and you need at least 3 cells.

The damage cap varies, the old yellow barrels seem to cap out at around 960ish, the white barrels seem to cap lower. The SAC reduction from the barrels seems either non-existant or certainly not as high as a crafted barrel.
Anyway, a 967 Damage, 65 SAC DE-10 would be very impressive.
Best I have done is 960 max (cap for the barrel I used) and 70 SAC I think.

Man, to get three amazings on a piece would be...well..Amazing? What are you doing I'm not? I'm in a research center, wear +25 WS experimentation, +23 bespine, 15% crafting tool, 44.005% station. And I routinely get 'greats'. Two amazings in a row is enough of a rarity that I try for it only when creating schem componenets.

um what now? are you to say what counts or not, or was it just such a big mistake that i used the word tripplecap on the WS forumsthat sets you up like that?

All I said was, I would like to see a double capped DE-10 - I would be impressed by it and the smith who made it, I am sure its possible you just don't see many of them about thats all. Shame as I have fond memories of the DE-10 pre-CU and they are rarely used or made these days ![]()
I was just pulling your leg about wound capping as its pretty much a given that any weapon you make is going to be wound capped enhanced or un-enhanced.

all my trippl..errr double capped weapons are amazings only - i cant doublecap them w/ greats.

with the +35 xp do you mean you have more than 12 exp points to use?

Hmm...i've been ignoring assembly tapes since my understanding was they avoided crit fails, which don't cost you components anymore. Do they help with the actual quality of the assembly?
Force crafting is a bit of a grind but if it is making it that much easier to get amazings...well...a crafter's gotta do...what a crafter's gotta do.

Nope you don't but over +20 Exp you seem to get more amazings, I noticed a slight differnce with +25, then dropped another tape to make myself +33.
