heres the last thread.

I think the WS community needs to at least know what is happening, before that nobody can sit and cry exploit... If for example the items in question just simply use pre CU components, or sliced with a pup involved, you will have to accept this is OK..
If on the other hand the crafter is managing to dupe items or something then indeed the WS should be dealt with..

Kinda sucks with all the free transfers from Bria...been seeing a lot of this crap!
the last time i tried to get the real methodsyou use tocontinually bypass craftedas well as sliced weapon caps i failed as well, you aren't very forthcoming with information on this situation nor the previous one. at least the last time you used your real name when you pretended to apologize and promised to never let it happen again.
so this time it isnt some weapontrade to a respeccing bounty hunter that had a friend magic slice it right? that was the last reason if i recall correctly.
Some very bold assumptions there. FYI, I do have relation with sol, I provide his components. I even have access to his account so I can use his vendor for forum trades. He doesn't visit the forum and last time I made him come post something.
I had been collecting resources, and components for a year before the guy even started playing because originally I wanted to be a weaponsmith but never had the patience to grind it, finally quitting in early 2004 after making 3203 or something like that (I was into the melee weapons and did realize this wasn’t the best way to grind obviously).
So that aside, I know that he had piles of pre-cu enhancers that were never used until post-cu because he wanted to 'learn everything before wasting them'. That's why the theory above; I believe is the only viable reasoning. If no one else personally has any high-damage pre-cu enhancers, then aside from my checking to see if he has any left and giving some to another individual to test and see if they get the same result, the theory will remain a theory i suppose.
If condemning someone for 'infeasible' results is the only solution, the HLR has already been reported to CSR's, and secondly we have the powerhammer serial number in the screenshot. Also, as far as I know sol will be canceling his account anyway to go play WoW, so you and the tarquinas forum-goer clique can get back to your monopoly of the tarquinas market with no worries.

Ahh right, that would come under the field of working as expected then....
i wouldnt considera sliced weapon with two powerups on itexactly working as expected.
thanks for a feasible solution on how this is happening, it makes sense.
I will try to develop a test to confirm this is the same scenario.

/shrug.... The devs have known weapon conversion with pups was bugged since the CU hit... They did nothing about it, thus this is working as intended.
If this is indeed happening, it is quite bad. As if it was not enough that we have converted Pre CU weapons that we cannot compete with. We dont need another source of bugged and exploited weapons. Can anyone confirm this is happening before I take it to the Correspondent forum?
If this holds true it needs to be stopped immidiately
That being said those weapons wont be around forever. When Blixtev taled about the bugged scopes he mentioned that they would soon introduce a check for weapons taht would sort all numbers into place and I am assuming that that check will fix all the over the cap weapons aswell. Anyhow the issue needs to be adressed.
It is happening, not naming names but I know of people that are doing it. I've seen hammers made with Legendary bones from Pre-CU that won't break the dmg, on assembly it capped dmg so everything went into speed and SAC. There are always loop holes to jump through if the progamers are lazy.when computers games are involved it's common practice.
Don't worry those weapons will be ADK'ed and last forever...YAY!!!

I have reported this to the devs all we can do is wait. As soon as I have more information on the subject I will get back to you all on it

in another case of weapons crafting over the caps. Recently one of the WS in my guild crafted a PFT with under 90 SAC using powercells. The cap IS 100 in all other cases. (I've made alot of high end PFTs post CU and I've never managed to break it. But then I havent ever actually tried to do so with powercells myself)
But he reports having broken it with powercells and considering how long I've known him I'm quite willing to belive it. And I've certainly heard of damage caps being exceeded post CU using looted components.
