I didnt get beta... what is the Cube?? Is it similar to the Horadric Cube from Diablo (LOL thats wat it sounds like anyway LOL))
i didn't get in either but from what i heard yesI love the idea to use crappy items to form good items. The random junk actually gets a use now. And if you can craft schematics for us even better
Now i'm just wondering if those schematics are trade-able lol the devs seem to really like non trade items now.
QFE anyone know if they are trade-able?

Yes, the schematics are tradeable. The glowing parts are not. So you have to either buy the completed schematic from a combat person, or group with them, and hope they share the loot.

Sorry to say, but the schematics are not tradeable, neither is the cube.
The glowy items you put in the cube will be tradeable, atleast those
that can be used to make the schematics.
The quest for the cube is doable by a cl1. There is no fighting involved,
you only have to travel about 3k total. Never really say any aggro mobs
on the path for the cube quest.

ok, i might have mixed up which was tradeable and which wasn't. lol. This still leaves you guys with opportunity to buy these loot items. Once more recipes are discovered I'm sure there will be more excitement about this.
My only wish, as a crafter myself, is that there was a way to gain these glowing or faintly dimming items without combat.
Possible solutions:
NPC scavenger hunts - NPC would tell you roughly the location of some hidden lockbock or container that is only accessible by the quest holder. Exact loction would not be given, but maybe a 300-500 radius.
NPC Puzzle type quests. - NPC could give you some riddle that you must decipher. Successfully answering the riddles grants a piece. Perhaps put a limit on how many times you can do this per day.
NPC Crafter Challenge - NPC assigns a certain product the crafter must make and tells him it must meet certain specifications. There would be a time limit of maybe 2min. That way a person does not have time to go back and get the best resources possible. Randomize this so each time its a different item or different specifications. IF the person succeeds, then they get a few pieces for the cube.

"Ok, what is all this Cube stuff? This from a new quest?"
Anyone point me in the right direction?
