I'm worried....look how Shipwright is...if that is thier "Vision" for crafting in this game I wont be staying.

Shipwright experimentation means almost nothing and there resources spawn all the time..meaning that anyone can be as good as a veteran SW.

I've been a Master Weaponsmith for over 6 months and if someone can just grind the profession out and make product as good as mine I'll be very unhappy.

Getting to be as good as a "legend" of your craft is a good part of the crafting professions that makes them a challengethat shouldn't be tampered with.

Another thing that worries me about the "CU" is thier constant attempts at tampering with the economy. Economies, are what they are, and can pretty much ballance themselves if left alone. There isn't a need to fiddle with it, if peaople make more, we charge more to compensate, If they make a drastic amount less you go into resession and a colapse of the economy ( just like if everyone lost thier jobs in real life). This is probably the one thing they will screw up which will be unrecoverable.

unfortunately this is not a real economy and people don't lose jobs, the only thing is to learn better ways of getting money, so prices will always rise. the economy must be tampered with

While this isn't a "real" economy; it is player run. If you were to base what ship you could buy off of what you make in space, you would see that you couldn't even afford the harvesting costs of the resources for the better shipsfrom what you make off of your space "missions". If this is the developer plan on what people should make; no one will even be able to afford the harvesting costs of the things we produce. The real problem with the current economy is that the "money" in the economy has no limitations, it's artificialy made, with no outlet of credits at the other end of the spectrum for an outlet of cash; meaning that the amount of cash in the economy is alway going higher with no "mechanics" in place to control the limit.
