There are still people out there with tons of money. Sure the value of really high stuff might go down but people are still going to want the best stuff and will still be willing to pay the big bucks.
There will probably be some way to get around it and people will make tons of money still. I might have to just go to doing 12k crimson blurrgmissions on endor like I used to do when grinding up a combat profession

exactly. low end stuff (unenhanced crafted items) will not change too much in pricing, but the high end loot will. people can still run 10k+ missions, so income reduction is more in the line of 55%-66% decrease, not 80%.

Thanks for your input folks. Please note I love you all dearly... cause well... where else would I get my shiny new gunz... This thread has been sort of a research point for me in supporting my views that armor and weapons will not adjust given the income nerf. I wish you all luck. Please note not all armor/weaponsmiths are reasonable about prices 15 - 20k for good quality hunting weapons. Good luck in the dark economic times ahead, I sincerly hope you all do well... otherwise... well... no weapons... and that'd be mmmmm bad.

well, 3 6k missions for a gun that will last you a long while is not bad, the 80% kinetic compo and brandy is another matter

on a side note... as a hunter I can tell you...

first thing to go is armor (ok I won'tget hit so much, Im a wookie I know the drill)...

then buffs (don't get hit and now don't special so much, god i miss tat-sunburn) ...

and then weapons quality... (ok don't get hit, dont use specials and that nuna takes 4 hours to kill but hey that's full on 1000 credits in my pocket and no cost)

a weapon will always be necessary to survive no matter how far down the economic food chain the hunters are pushed.

Normal weapons (not enhanced) don't cost more than 1 or 2 post-nerf missions anway so I see no reason they will drop in price. Enhanced weapons might drop in price in the long run but first the loot component prices need to drop. Price adjustment will take some time.

Your going to see a drop in my special enhanced weapon prices as soon as the looters decide they wanna sell Krayt tissue, Acklay bones, Gorax, etc etc at a decent price. This 500-1mil a tissue sh!t is gotta go. As for regular weapons hell 3 Baz Nitch missions will cover the cost of almost all my weapons anyway, minus DXRb's and T21's.

LoL must have been writing when this guy posted ^ Or i could just have said Yeah! What he said.

I am doing my best to keep prices down anyway.... gathering my own material... and only crafting 10 guns/melee of one type at a time..... most my of my weapons are not over 5k so the average and newb can afford them from doing one good mission.

Only solo groups are nerfed. If you group and run missions in the same direction, a group will still make lots of credits fast.

I base my price off of resource cost not solo groups. If the price of resources goes down then i can forsee a drop in weapon prices. Right now i see resources prices staying steady if not increasing.
