Why waste a perfectly good ns motor on the NSEL? That's 140 more damage... on AN ENERGY WEAPON! Yeah, because tons of things dont have high energy resists >_> Maybe if the NSEL was the NSSL (Stun Lance), then I could understand it The resultant VK would sell for more anyways (and you wouldnt use the schem)

-so that means you need two from the same drop in the same nsel?
-and that means that if you have a drop of 1 or 3 or 5 then an extra motor is left over cause it takes two to make a nsel, right?

I think alot of the ws are missing the boat. IMHO the nsel is a crap weapon it has very low min damage and not a superior max damage. It also takes two motors and they sell for about 3-5 million per.
Now fencers and TK's are DESPERATE!!! for higher damage weapons. Especially since acklay was introduced TK's. You could make more selling 6 vks than 3 nsel. Peeps use nsel as a status similar ot RIS it isnt a bad weapon, but what could 5 million buy? Id pay1.5 to 3 million for a nonsliced vk between 220-250, and you could get twice as many as nsel. And they are easier to sell, waaay more TKA's around then Pikes, besides standard lances and LVA drop all the time, and it tisnt that hard to get a 500+ max damage LVA, they are on the board all the time.

Sounds almost exactly like the Exploited weapons that have poped up lately to me.....and WS can't make those.
The min. damage would be closer to 50 on a crafted VK, and that max is all but impossible to hit unsliced.

Some of the things you say are valid, but when it comes down to it, if I could sell one NSEL and make 5 million, or make 5 NS VK's and sell them for 1.2M, I'd still make the NSEL because that's less time I need to spend looking for a buyer to pay for a weapon that could be made just as well (from my experience with your average NS motor drop) than a Nym's Motor. Selling VK's on forum boards is a b*tch because people screw you around, waste your time, ask you to slice them, etc etc. There's no need to slice an NSEL before you sell it, so there's no risk involved, however if all your VK's get speed sliced, that's 5 million down the drain as you'll be finding that the NS VK's will only sell for 2-300k a peice.
Also, Fencers (both Gaffi and Stun) can take Acklay, so throwing them into the NS argument has no use. RIS has nothing to do with NSEL's, because people love the dual DOT on them. I see duelers taking down Jedi all the time while using them, and there's no way you would waste an NS motor in an LVA because for the most part, as I said before, Nym's motors do more damage at the sacrifice of a lightly lower speed.Just a tidbit, I was making a setof VK'sfor someone, and they gave me 4 identical NS motors. I made one NS, one Nym and one using my own crafted vibromotors, and in all honestly, only the Nym VK stood out with it's damage being considerably higher than the other two. The speed was at 1.9 on the NS, but the damage was lower, and what TKM cares about speed on a VK?
No way I would ever, ever, EVER use amazing NS Motors in a VK, unless they were brought to me on special demand.

I'm not sure about anyone else, but if I got my hands on any amount of NS motors, I'd be waiting to see what the CU brings before putting them in a VK. Unless a customer brought them to me etc. Still a waste in my tiny opinion. /shrug

considering base max for a NS motor is 35 dmg, i doubt a max 140+ will be dropping anytime soon anyways

This just proves the ancient rule: quantity doesn't ensure quality. I think we have ourselves a classic "HAHA YEAH" poster... one of those with no concept of etiquette, logic or social skills. Posting in the WS forum (which is clearly not a trade forum) for somebody to make him a near impossible dmg VK, after probably trying one small post in his respective server trade forum and server specific forum, just doesn't deserve a straight answer.
A mod doesn't need to close this thread... it simply shouldn't have existed in the first place. Sad to see really...
