THIS IS NOT OUR IDEA OF A FIX. I would rather have 25% crit fails than have this NERF happen and ruin the ONE ASPECT of the GAME I LOVE.
PLEASE don't go through with this NERF.
If you have to make a choice as to whether to fix the crit fail issue and this is the only way to fix it, then DO NOTHING AT ALL. I can live with failures. I cannot live with what you are planning on doing though.

I am dropping my 2nd account if this goes through. I am not a WS, but even master doc's are affected even if it is not as severe an impact as to the WS and AS folks. I spend way too much time on my doc crafting profession to get it whacked even a little. If my fun doc profession is gone, I may be gone entirely shortly after as well.

What fix is this? The one about every experimentation point spent yielding the same results based solely on the quality of the resources?
If its that one... It has its advantages and disadvantages. For example, if your using a resource with 1k CON and are making repair kits... You will get it right the first time without having to re-do it each time you fail in experimenting. The disadvantage is that if your using average quality, your product will be average. No chance it might come out better. IMO, the disadvantages outweigh the advantages.
At least that is what I got from the notes.... I may be wrong, but to my understanding thats what it says.

Since it appears that the new system will not reflect or even function with what is currently within the game, i.e hard capped resources....plumbum anyone, it will only cause new problems that will only have to be add and addressed in future bug lists. Will this truly serve its purpose where even at this point schematics and some weapons themselves that are in dire need of fixing? NO! Address the more pressing issues first, take the time to develope the new system for later but try to include us the weaponsmith, armorsmiths, chefs andall the other elite crafterswho may actually have some useful knowledge in these areas to help create a working system that will take into account that which already exists within the game. My 2 cents plus 75 for a small cup of coffee from Double D.

I am not sure what the intention of the developers is, but whatever the reason, the method of execution seems to be really poorly thought out.
Just my 2 cents

If TH hasn't figured out my stance on this by now, he hasn't been listening.
