Thread: So are the new buffs working or not?

I made a Power hammer last night. Used a Buff, Pyollian cake and besipin port. CUst requested SAC cap. Made two hammers and got s 907 max damage on both. Got a new inspiration buff, used same resources and foods, got a hammer with 933 max amage.

yes it does affect the assemlby tough seems its capped at 29,9^ so probably thats why u cant hit 100 on the exp. furthermore i tried making adv sword cores with perfect dolovite(873UT) and the strange thing was that both speed and eff became 30% on assembly but damage only 29 only and i still coludnt hit 100 on any... tough Summer posted she could achvied it on something

what are the % with a moderate, good and fail anyway. I know great is 7% and amazing is 8%.

meh personally I dont see that it's helping much. if anything I think amazing successes are even fewer and farther between... made an enhanced Featherweight and got great successes across the board. I think I only got 1 amazing on sac on the enhanced elite carbine i made for a friend

but then again I still havent gotten anything below a great success since I got up to a +23 mod on my WS clothing and my 12th experimentation point... so that's a plus

I was under the impression that the FS crafting bonus dont stack with the research city bonuses... so it seemed likea lot of work to me to get an extra +5 to my experimentation roll... FS crafting gives +20 research gives +15. I generally get all greats as it is I rarely get anything but a great, occasionaly I get an amazing and even rarer I get a non-great/non-amazing

I think they may have changed the die roll with the CU, as I am not doign anything different, and I have never gotten worse than a great on assembly, and never a critical failure on experimentation(I have a had a couple good and maybe 1 or 2 moderates). I am doing nothing different than I was doing pre-cu. I am +120 Experimentation, +123 Assembly, 15.00 Crafting tool, 45 Crafting station, ina research city. And pre-cu I saw many more less than great results, including critical failures.

This carbine was crafted in a research city, with a WS buff, using +24 Port. +134 ws exp. suit, I know the extras don't matter but what the heck. I have not tainted myself with any FS lines.

The loot comps were Power Cells at +173 damage and -6 SAC. Loot scope +12 accu -.73 speed.

5 amazings on experimentation. Pre Buff it took a much better Cell to get even near the stats on this carb, my resources are so near the gates though that the 2% bumped everything fairly well.

Crafting components without port during the buff session I had all greats and amazings, the ratio of amazings did go up if ported.

For me at least the buffs seem to be well worth the time involved hunting a Musician down.
