Anything wrong with putting this in a tangle pistol?

The tangle pistol would then be about as good as a Geo sonic with base tissues...not really worth wasting something this rare, on something that can be fashioned better and cheaper...imo.

Personally I would hold onto for display for a while. Wait and see how things change until after January when we should have a better idea of what to expect from the combat revamp. It's a shame you only got one.

My first thought would be to go for a Berserker rifle when it's fixed but, I think with the CU and the changes expected for Commando that a Launcher pistol would be a good choice, but you'd be better off waiting until we know more before you comit it to a weapon.

Launcher pistol. No question. Berserkers are outclassed by the heavy ap and damage on T21s. strikers are kinetic and most armor people wear is high kinetic anyway. Not tangle for sure because it would only put it on par with a moderately enhanced geo. Launcher pistol over FWG 5 because launcher pistol has greater damage anyway. Besides it'd make a great turret buster with commando/smuggler using last ditch

Launcher: is always anice choice....Exellent for hunting Night Sisters

Striker: the *only* kinetic pistol, not everyone in the game PVP's making the 80% kineticcomposite argument not hold water

Tangle: you cert with this one before novice pistoleer if I'm not mistaken, making ahigh damageone invaluable to many classes including Commando, Bounty Hunter andSmuggler to name themost popularthree that could use it, and I do believe that theTangle is faster than the Geo Blaster

Tusken Rifle: pretty much useless to any knowledgable Rifleman no matter what you put in it

Berserker: Never going to be fixed and even if were to be fixed it's AP0 puts it in the never going to be used for any real combat catagory

If your looking to make cash, the berzerker is going to sell well for it's rarity and looks. Any rifleman who see's that little "AP0" is never going to buy one based on it's usefulness in real combat. That and Heat is not a damage type that we rifleman NEED to be able to attack something.
If we want to pay the bucks for a berzerker, we can afford a real rifle
If your looking to make a weapon that is very comabt effective and sells for the big bucks, I'd sit on it until after the CU and see what projectile bases weapons are hot then. I expect we'll be seeing weapons with lower special attack costs comming back into favor. For those weapons, +150 damage will be a HUGE boost.

who knows what AP and damage type the berserker will be post CU.

By the same reasoning, who knows if there will be any riflemen after the CU. I suspect it'll be brought back into line (finally) and people will be looking to other professions. Of course, the CU and the berserker are two different things also...it'll probably go unfixed for a while after the CU...especially once they start getting sidetracked with all the new exploits/fixes/nerfs that the rushed to heck CU will bring........if it comes...

Heck, commando might become the new force to be reckoned with, pistoleer might fare better so it would bring more in a FWG5, etc. For right now though, I would sooooooo put that in a launcher pistol. Forget rockets, a LP with that + stopping shot would drop turrets in a heartbeat. Only problem would be that there are so few commandos that it would be hard to get much out of it. :/

I would hold off, there have been several comments indicating we will be seeing new weapons with the combat revamp. If there are any carbines that use a feed mech us carbineers will be pretty excited at the possibility of having one crafted with such a component.

Of course the biggest problem with that is you may be holding onto the fang until july...

the striker pistol, tangle pistol, fwg5, and launcher pistol arguments aren't holding any water since most have counted out the beserker based on AP0. all of these weapons are AP0. another choice would be the spraystick, also AP0. the fact is, what you intend to do with the weapon will determine what you should put it in, if anything. holding it in a show case would be nice just to say you have something that is "Legendary".

to me, however, this has to go in something with a high health cost. we know from THs post about the CU that buff and armour changes are not going to allow us to spam specials in the future. this has a -34 health cost reduction. whatever it goes in, it has to have a high rating on heath cost so this can negate it, making all of the features of it used.

The AP0 arguementholds a tonne of water: AP0 on a pistol is still pretty good while AP0 on a rifle compared to other rifles available atAP2 or AP3 really isn't all that great. Not that the Berserker wouldn't be great, I just think it would be better used in a Launcher pistol because this pistol is slow enough to take advantage of both the speed and damage of the fang.

I can count the number of times I've used my Berserker Rifle on one hand.

Actually, I can't count them at all, as I've never used the damn thing. Hell, it's not even in my inventory.

Nym's Slugthrower? What does a non-craftable theme park reward weapon have to do with crafting a weapon using fangs? Jeez, anyone can be 12 pts these days.
