Yeah I just double checked all my sword cores...I have3 yellow textsword coresnow. And after looking at most my reinforced cores andsword crores I found that almost all the yellow test ones have higher min stats than max stats. Here's the stats on the sword cores I have looted:
Min: 64 54 37
Max: 29 29 30
AttackSpeed: -.56 -.456 -.616
Wound: 13 23 16
Ideal Range: 29 34 31
Health Cost: 4 6 4
Action Cost: 8 9 6
Mind Cost: 6 8 7
Are these things bugged? or will they make weapons that the CSRs are going to steal from me? I just want to make a good scythe blade. Is the first one I listed above going to be better than what I could get crafted with my yellow cubes and solidifying agent I have?
These cores are bugged and you shouldn't use them. Ackley bones are having the same problem. Min isn't supposed to be higher than max. I would contact a CSR before using them.
Nonsense. Once you use these in a Scythe (or in fact any other melee weapons that accept sword cores) the base damage on the weapons will still mean that the minimum cannot be greater than the maximum.
The same is true if you use the bugged Acklay bones in a Powerhammer.
The only problem is when the bugged bones were used in Stun Batons or Gaffi sticks meaning that min dmg surpassed max and lead to problems in damage calculation scripts.
To prove my point I made a pair of Scythes last week (factory run of 2)using 6 geo sword cores that were 91 min 54 max. The resulting weapons are 244-315 2.8 and usual other mods/HAM.
Min dmg power up (16%) adds 39 to min making it 283 which is still not higher than the max in this case. I'd suggest not using cores like this in a Rykk blade but then again why would you? I kept these for a week until I managed to get my paws on another of those elusive scythe schamtics and
used it to it's full (legal) potential.
I'm trying to collect the ingrediants for a scythe, and I want everything to be top end. I'm working on red cubes atm.
I was just wondering if you could use 2 identical and 1 none identical cube?

K I'll just add a lil info that I have about Geono loot.
Best yellow cubes I've seen so far was +15 min/+25 max.
Best solidifying agents I've seen so far was +25 max.
Best loot cores I've seen so far were 56 min 91 max -.5 spd, which made a 363 Dmg/2.6 Scythe(2 actually since it was a set of 4).
Personally I would only use yellow cubes and solidifying agents when making the cores. Most people hunt buffed and want more damage. Green cubes don't add anything to Scythes. Inorder for a green cube to add anything it has to be required when assembling the weapon like in the Disruptor Rifle.
I tell all of my hunters to ignore any loot cores that are less than +50 max dmg.

There is no point to using red cubes in a scythe, get yellow cubes and good agents. Although if you get yellow cubes that are good enough, I seriously question the need for agents. I crafted 2 scythes for a custom order last night involving +15/20 yellow cubes and +15 agents. Damage was maxed out very early at 340. I'm pretty sure had we made the cores without the agents, the max damage would have been reached anyway.
And no, you can't use a singular cube to produce the 2 identical cores you'll need.
hmm.. i tried using yellow power cubes in my geo sword core. made the schematic with no problem. the problem came when i put the same serial number as the schematic cubes into the factory and started it up, it told me that it stopped cuase it ran out of white power cubes!!!!!!!!!
Thinking it was just a glitch, i made a second schematic using the yellow power cubes and inserted them into the factory and wham...again it said i ran out of white power cubes. talking about a waste of money and time. Is this happening to anyone else? Or is this game not liking me?
This may be a little off topic but what is the reference to names being in yellow text? The original poster makes it sound like they are better than the normal white text ones? I recently looted 3 identical geo sword cores and only 1 of them had yellow text so I assumed it didn't mean anything.
thanks
I always destroy the agents I loot because a ws once tell me that he could make lot better agents than +10.

I also think yellow text means nothing. I was given a set of Geono Sword Cores, same serial, one was yellow text, no difference in stats.
Yellow text does mean something.
It means that the item has stats better than the base item in that class.
The reason it appears confusing is that it only appears on the text of the first item out of a set of identical serial-numbered items.

THX in advance
Doh!
You can't make solid agents, there isn't a schematic for them. They are an enhancement to the sword (and I think) reinforcment core schematics, which you can find.
Don't destroy them. Or if you don't want to keep them contact syrinx in game, and I will happily take them off your hands ![]()
