I hate capped Resources!
Damn you Axidite, Damn you Plumbum, Damn you Polonium!
ruining our weapons /cry /cry.
I've invested about 20mil in weaponsmith Resources, but now i can compete at any gun, barring T21's which i am solving now, with the veteran WS on my server.

After I made master I took 3 months before I could make weapons. I understudied with another master weaponsmith and sent my hey requests to him. Sometimes you have to buy resources but I mined almost everything I needed in 3 months. Of course on Sunrunner I have never seen Solid Petrol 3. Make friends with other weaponsmiths and get some help from them.

yeah, I can make the Gaffi sticks and 1-handed curved swords, problem is there's not as large a market for them that I've seen.
Apart from Stun Batons, which do Fencer's use?
As for buying resources?
I'm down to 500k credits - had 3 million when I started. I mine 95% of my own resources.
Only ones I've bought have been a couple of stacks of reasonable desh copper - I can make 145 damage VKs
I have got a few nice loot parts, but I'm scared to 'waste' them on the lower resources - half-dozen 24 damage nym's motors for instance.
And around 5000 base yellow cubes (20 at 18 or 19 max damage), and a few dozen base reagents.
Oh, and How could I forget the real problem... figuring out a pricing scheme.
Why don't you try selling grenades. I cannot keep these things in stock, particlarly c12's and c22's. Since these things require alot of resources, I make them with mid-grade resources. Sometimes I even use low grade stuff I want to get rid of. The max damages are lower than I could make them, but they still sell like hot cakes. I sell C12's for 40k per crate and C22's for 70K per crate. They require alot of factory time but the credits you make could help you buy some good resources.
