For the vk's themselves I am trying a new recipe with copper that has 783 SR and steel with 994 SR. Hopefully they will turn out nice.

Well, you can make some logical assumptions.

Copper isn't know for it's toughness, but conducts well.

Wood generally doesn't have high Shock Resistance, but is known for it's malleability.

And so on.

Not only in a general term, but in most instances the particular "type" of material is of higher quality than others. Maybe it's just Tempest, but compare the spawns of Polysteel and Berylius Copper....The OQ, as well as overall stats seem to consistantly be MUCH higher on the Polysteel. Same with Kiirium Steel, it seems that the stats on this are always inherently lower than other types.

Yah, Duralloy steel seems to always have SR, HR, and UT that is over 900

Well, you could always try to find good Planite Copper. I know it not much, but I replaced mine last night with something with 30 more on stat and ended up with 5 extra damage points on my VK eheh...

We had a 369 UT Desh on Radiant.... still get 38-147 damage 2.2 speed knucklers with it.

Ok then...to all my fellow Weaponsmiths on Wanderhome. I have the deal of a century for you. Somehow (appearantly by dumb luck) I have a pile of Desh Copper with UT450. I thought it sucked as have been stressing over where to get better Desh. Who is willing to pay the most?

Silly thing is, I don't even make a lot of VKs.

I use Desh with 367 UT and Plat with 800 UT and still can't get over the 147 DMG 2.2 hump.
