As of now, there' sno difference between a 10pt and a 12pt as far as damage output. A 10pt can max out damage just as easily if he's in a research center.The real difference is the 12pt will have another 2-3 points avail. after damage is maxed out. This leads to higher condition weapons or more accurate weapons. Bottom line, a 12pt can get away with charging a bit more for his weapons due to those few extra points, but a 10pt is certainly competitive with the 12pt. Quality of resources is more important than a couple experimentation points anyway.
