Apparently when the game gets confused it moves things to 0,0 hence the appearance of SBDs and mercenaries at this location on Endor.
I assume everything else that moves there gets toasted by the SBD

Not useless, just less useful. My scythe got a speed slice, my hacl, a damage slice, so to a speed-capped swordsman, the hack is better, it all depends on the components, use some nice cores, and either will be nice.

Exact same as a scythe.
Carbonite Steel (SR 100%)
Phrik Aluminum (SR100%)
2 identical Geonosian sword cores (either looted or crafted with Geo cubes and optionally solidifying paste)

The hack schematic is a one-use schematic. Can it be used to create a schematic, so that a player with six Geo Sword Cores can use two for the schematic, and four in the factory, to end up with two Hacks?

That's how it is done. Try and obtain 6 identical solidifying pastes. You should find these easily by shopping an hour or so on the various loot vendors in your galaxies prestigious shopping mecca (the place with the big mall)
I made the Hack. This thing blows..nice wall decoration though...

yeah......and because it is one use it is rare to come by and expensive to buy the schmatic. I made one and it now hangs on my shop wall

Does this weapon use the same ingeredients as the scythe? I've been hearing conflicting reports and I though you guys who build the things would know. Also is it a 1-use only compared to the 2-use scythe schematic?
