Why for crying out loud don't we have DX2's on Starsider yet?

Oh, I know the technical reason, but why is it taking sooooo long to get the resources needed?

It's plain stupid and fun ruining if you ask me. I've been qualified to use DX2's for weeks.

Also, I'm qualified to use Republic Blasters how come people are telling me that if I get one I still wont be able to use it?

Why is there so many things wrong with the main classes of this game?

That said, I'm a fan of all things Naboo. Especially their green-firing pistols, which have been identified as the "Republic Blaster". I went out of my way while at the Emperor's Retreat to go to Tatooine and grab one from Valerian's assistant, Ind. I got the Marksman tree andonly wentto Intermediate before realizing that I already had the cert to use it. Then I find that it doesn't work.

I for one am really bummed about this. Even though it has terrible range problems, I really like this gun. But... it doesn't work.

I also ahve cert form doing quest, but when I equip says not certified.

Im an imperial, naybe thats why? But odd if so as quest that gave it was imp.

Republic blasters look like they will be great when fixed.

- Cert is broken (as far as I know everyone has it. Maybe at character creation like the CDEF?) People have it, but it doesn't work.

- Range is broken (ideal and modifiers - like the Commando weapons).

Hmm. Sliced my FWG5 is 59-265 dmg 2.1 speed. Took one of those new weapon crafting comp drops to one of the best weaponsmiths on my server and she made up quite a pistol for me.

These weapons look pretty decent. States that the cert is at Novice Marksman. I got one and tried to use it but I did no damage with it. Is it bug of some sort or what. Has anyone used any of these weapons successfully.

As far as i know, these blasters are bugged. The certification is false, and it is a **edit** good weapon for a low lvl marksman!!

I see Republic Blasters are certified for use by Jedi - are they any good - anyone know any stats?

A quick search of just about any weapon vendor on any planet on any servershould give you that information.

The republic blaster is the choice of weapon for my Pistoleer oriented character, and is far superior to the FWG5, even pre-patch. It has equal damage capabilities, and is the only pistol I know of that has armor <light> penetration capabilities. It is an energy weapon, compared to the heat of the FWG5.

Yes, but with absolutely no skill mods you're screwed for using it. You might as well be handling a CDEF unless you're killing gnorts.
