Yeah, I've got 2 sets of 5 cubes so I'll be able to make 4 and recoup my costs. But it's still pretty extreme. I'm pretty much a pure crafter/merchant, and don't really know what it takes to get some of this loot. It'd might be worth my while to get some decent combat ability and start getting this stuff myself.

the scythe schematic is the easiest of all of them. Some guy in bestine sends you on 3 or 4 missions.. the toughest guy to kill is some npc bounty hunter that died in 4 shots as a master rifleman so just have a friend kill it. The last mission is a delivery mission.. when you complete it he gives you a map. That map gives a waypoint to krayt canyon. You scan the waypoint and it makes anew waypoint 20m away. Scan at that waypoint and you will be under attack by a krayt dragon juvenile but there will bea chest on the ground. Just focus on the chest and ignore the krayt attacking you. Take the scythe and get back on your bike and haul tail out of there. If you get buffs and put on composite you will never even notice your being smacked around. hehe.

- It's time the devs end the bitter fighting by giving the community a Non Jedi server. We have a few servers with TINY populations that could be changed to this ruleset. I support this idea because it punishes noone. - You can support it too. Click Here!

If you have 6 identical swordcores, you can use 2 for a schematic, then have a factory produce 2 scythes from 1 use of the scythe schematic.

So you can get 4 Scythes from 1 whole schematic, but certainly not by hand crafting...

Just my 2 bits here, but this is a krayt... people search for hours for these. Get all your regulares informed of this, and have a few tag along with you when you run this. Hang around the back so you won't acidenty get rocked and watch your regulares/guildies teach mr dragon who's boss. Who knows, maybe you'll get some new tissues to play around with as a bonus. I've picked up a lot of 7 cube loots, but I"ve never gotten anything high (and the sevens are always white) so I dunno about the 11 cube loots.

The scythe quest dragons do not drop any loot, so fighting it is pretty worthless.
