I find it interesting that you ask if the customers are more educated now because they didn't agree with you before. O_o
I would also take issue with the little comment about "any rifleman worth a crap is capped" since I'm not capped, and a couple friends aren't capped, but we seem to do just fine. Oh, and you get the +5 at master marksman, not ranged support.
If you try to tell your customers that something is better and you can't convince them, it isn't automatic that they haven't "educated themselves" yet. It might just be that they know exactly what they need, and it isn't what you're trying to push on them. Like it or not, HAM doesn't matter to probably about 90% of the population right now. While some may be speed capped, nearly all are on mind buffs/full mind stat migration/brandy/ahrisa, and they sure aren't going to notice 10 less ham or so. Maybe it will in the CU, but but last I checked they aren't even pretending to know a date on that sucker. Most of the guns made now will be burned out on krayts/NS/whatever long before CU comes around. I know that I, for one, will wait to jump off that bridge when we get to it...not race to speculate what may or may not work when the CU hits at some unknown date.

Man.....I wrote out a big ole paragraph and just deleted it all lol....
1-- Yes, the slower T21 with less HAM should be more valuable to the experienced Rifleman....but its not...
2-- No, they wont sell because the speed will be slower even though it doesn't matter!!
3-- Bang head on desk and wonder why you are a WS to begin with like I do
Um? Master Rifleman need +7 or +8 Rifle Speed CAs to cap a 7.5 speed T21, so speed does matter, unless you have CAs.
Force Speed is +12, Ranged support is +5, any rifleman worth a crap is speed capped it can easily be done with just skills. If the rifleman isn't capped then he's likely not going to be buying weapons from me since I only do custom weapons.
Isn't force speed broken??? and not everyone can have master marksman for the 5+ to speed there !!

I went through all of the corellian decidious woods in the resource kit and the best I found was roughly 689sr. The stuff I am using now is 646sr and I just don't see the extra 40pts making much of a difference in the final outcome, if there is one that is 850+ sr I'd jump on it in a heart beat but I didn't see it anywhere in the kit.

My current Advanced Stocks on Kettemoor are 40-40 .256 20/20/20
Just thought I would throw those out for comparison.
And I have never had anyone ask for Lower HAM Experimentation either. Although with the CURB coming all bets are off.

my low ham stocks are 40/39 0.8xx 17/17/19, nothing too special only -10 on the ham cost - but with some scopes (not for t21) at 18 ir and zero ham cost i can make some low ham cost weapons
using them stocks seems a better alterative then experimenting on the final weapon efficiency as i normally get -1/-1/-1 per experimentation point which sucks
