Comments like this do nothing to dispel the "greedy crafter" image some hold of Weapon and Armoursmiths. Most people in SWG will have one ADK through their entire time playing, at most.

Anyway, in the current RotW system of item-only rewards from unrepeatable quests, if you dont have an ADK you're fecked.

So... how are we supposed to feel when all the new wepons to-date in ROTW (with the exeption of a useless knife that we can make 5 of) are ONLY avalible from quest as compleated items. This expansion was to provide content.. the only content it has given WS's is we get to make the same wepons that we could before ROTW. Yep there was new wepons for the CU.. but with the expansion we have to pay for we get nothing (so far.. I still have hopes).

So if buying a expansion that provides NOTHING to your proffession, in fact takes away our source of income is not a blatant slap/spit/stab in our faces... I don't know what is.

that's silly. grow up.

I dont even wanne get into this kind of argumentation.

Ive stated my concerns about the ADKs many a time and Ill be happy to do it again.

I dont like it as all players will sooner or later get an ADK and those who arent jedi will most likely use it on their topend weapon (yes weapon cause in CU one weapon seems to be all you need) And with ROTW it seems this topend weapon arent even made by a WS anymore.

Please dont call me greedy for wanting people to buy my stuff. That is my game. If people dont ned what I can do with my skills what am I supposed to play for?

This has absolutely nothing to do with credits and to drag that into the conversation is void.

If you dont think ADKs are taking away content from your gaming exsperience then thats great for you. But in all seriousness I dont see how you can say something like that. Cause players with ADKed weapons arent gonna invest in grind weapons and thats gotta be a fact unless you see our costumerbase as unintelligent.

I realize they need to add content to the longtime combat players, but honestly imo there wereso many routes they couldve taken that wouldnt have hurt the crafters and they choose to pick the one that I see as a slap in the face to the WS.

Atm I see the game going from a player controlled economy where most stuff players need are made by crafters to a loot controlled economy where highend stuff is either looted or questrewards

Also I dont see the ADK as the end of the world and I never did, but I know Im loosing content over it (lost sales, less costumemade weapons once everyone has had their adk candidate made) and I really dont like the trun the game is taking.

This might be gloomy view on the current state of the game, but I dont really feal theyve added anything to the crafting experience in many many months only degrading it.

Also the fact that they didnt even care to comment on the concerns about the ADK tells me they dont really see crafters as important as the combattant...

Crafters are not more important than the combatant anymore, they shifted from a "player run economy" to an NPC run economy back in JTL when they had the chassis dealers buy the looted components. This made it near impossible to get KSE Firespray parts. Now since like the graph from long ago where it showed that around 2% of the population of each server holds the majority of the credits, they want less people having billions of credits and more people having a few million. It's just a balance to the economy, which I don't agree with because do we see the government giving out free software that doesn't suck to stop Bill Gates from making money? No they leave his 90billion alone and just let the capitalist economy work on its own. SOE has decided that crafters are not what is going to bring in subscriptions but combat toons will, as we all know there are a heck of a lot more people that just play the game to kill stuff not worry about decimals we cannot see.

I've always been against the ADK. It's made a huge blow in my earnings. I still havnt recovered... the only way I can make ANY money is if I make krayted weapons and sell them at exorbitant prices. Is this any way to operate? I get a bad name because I'm expensive, but I cant even break even if I dont. *sobs*

As for content, I've always thought it be crap. I always hated how Armorsmiths had cool missions, actual content, to make RIS and whatnot. The closest thing we have to that is the Scythe, and even then, a weaponsmith cant do it alone! We need someone who can represent us who will take these concerns up to the big guys behind the desk and fix this mess we're in.
