The Knckles of Katarn are the same way. Cant be traded, dropped in house, only can be in inventory and bank.

Just respec to Master Smuggler while you still can and slice it yourself, and then at your next login respec back.

Check the patch notes for tomorrow. Looted weapons are going to be bio-reg'd (whatever it is) so once someone equips it its their's permantly. Also non-crafting prof's will b able to respec. Fixed the crafting xp problem (maybe.)
