Flamers are a waste(what's 48 dmg to a flamer.. nothing really), commando is a pretty dead profession. Make a dxr6-b and hope for a nice slice, or have more of a chance of monetary return by making some Krayt Modified Republic Blasters, and 1 scatter
when it comes to tissues like these , who cares about money??
Who cares about money? The weaponsmith who spent a million per tissue obtaining them probably does. That puts the cost for a flamer (not even including the one wasted in a schematic) at over 4M. It'd be hard to make that back on a flamethrower. Unless you're in the business to lose money (which will eventually shut your doors) you're better off making a popular weapon with them.

Its not the damage thats important to a FT but the speed and these tissues with a Imp stock would be nice but there aren't many commando's let alone ones that PvP. Make what you get most profit on be it scatters/Jawa whatever, unless you really want to make a FT. Any commando that needs a Krayt FT should be able to bring you krayt tissue as most seem to be commando/TKM and those guys can easily toast a krayt
hahau troll the WS boards. go back to commando/tailor boards

why spend that sort ov money only to make a weapon where people will have a speed cap? if they do cost more than normall its for the -1.0 speed and not the 48 max is it not??, if there put into anything other than a weapon that needs to be quicker then whats the point in buying them??? , you could just go buy a set ov 48 -0.3 for cheaper if thats the case .
me , if im looking to enhance a rifle and get a return on money i look for damage tissues , if i want to enhance a weapon thats proffesion have speed problems i use speed tissues , why do it any other way

I agree Willbaby. But a carbine or pistol would be a better use in my opinion. Capping speed with pistols or carbines takes a lotof skillpoints, and not everyone is willing to do it. With those tissues, you could maketwo DE10s with a decent speed that a Master Pistoleer without BH would appreciate. The profit would be quite a bit higher making two DE10s over one FT.
That's my only point. And it's just my opinion.

"Man where are all these super flamethrowers on Lowca?? Best I have is a 3.5...and I looked for a long time to find that? Anyone got a 2.5 for sale? Hell, I'd settle for a 3.0..."
I don't know how well stocked he is these days but check WINKs in Estee Enwy 1k N of Mos Eisley, he has badass sliced and special weapons, I've gotten a 3.1 and 3.2 FT off him. And I sure would love some Krayt FT's, I made a DXR6b and a few scatters and DE-10 with my last set of 11.

But you have to consider with a flamer........
Speed sliced.......good
Dmg slice..........good
You can make good money off of flamers with speed/dmg slice
DE-10 speed slice.........bad
DE-10 dmg sliced.........good if high%
Not much of a chance to screw up on a slice for a flamer, but speed sliced de-10 and its very bad, be lucky to get your money back out of it.

phew, i couldnt believe all the posts and not a person agreeing with me, but then finally a few have said it isnt that far fetched an idea. yes, i agtee, add a stock to them, and you get -1.553 speed, which on a heavy weap would be sweet, but at what? 2 mil, it seems a bit low on the profit scale.
now, before i get flamed for being in it for only the money, let me do a bit of background, i have a master weaponsmith, and armorsmith toon that is used mainly for guildies / friends. i like to make the best stuff possible, and since i have been in the armor business since last year, i can. but weaponsmith, i just took that up, so i dont have the gear to make everything top quality. i have had my 20 points experimentation in armor for a long time, and finally dug out of the hole and now have 14 mil towards weaponsmith clothing. the idea of de-10's is purely for cash to further my skills, its not for bragging rights. i want to be able to make the best stuff possible for my friends & guildies, and i dont volume sell or craft, so i wont make 30 mil more on laser rifles.
as for de-10's, the ones i have seen are 140-263/4.2 base (i'm sure there are variations based on different server resource availability)so the tissues would make it 140-321/3.2 out of the box. will 3.2 speed cap all specials? either way, i think it would beworth a lot more to do two de-10's and a scatter with the leftover. the barrels & schematics for the de-10 i can get for no cost, so that will make it a cheap pistol to craft.
in all, i think that will be my best profit direction, as i am looking to get 30mil or so to get me some skill tapes.

yeah forgot to mention that also, with a flamer u cant go wrong with any kind ov slice, damage or speed and you still get a great weapon, but if your looking for a good return on these go de-10 they can command a little more money

Very good point, that is something that I thought of when making the flamer which I forgot to point out here. Any high slice is a good slice with flamethrower, whereas most weapons all that's wanted is damage.

I think the flame thrower would be the best use of the tissues because of the speed.
Looking at it purely economical. The idea of making two DE-10's is probably going to give you some nice money in return granted you have the DE-10 schamatic and barrel. The extra speed will help the pistoleers who are not speed capped.
I myself havent gotten a DE-10 just cause its extremely expensive for something that is actually worse off for me than a damage sliced republic blaster... I only have master pistoleer meaning that the 3.9 speed of a DE-10 makes it an extremely slow gun opposed to the 2.5 speed republic blaster that is only 60 points in damge lower and dirt cheap.
A jawa rifle would probably fetch some good money also.
