personally....
2hCurved Sword = 2.5 68-249. 1k credits. I can do insane runs of these, and they only cost about 25 credits to make.
I never use Rancor loot in them because the HAM costs outweigh the 20 pts of damage.
I think your prices are beyond high. But I play on Wanderhome, and stuff is usually a lot cheaper there.
if the max damage of the teeth is over 100 then they are worth doing
If the max damage of the teeth is over 100, then it'll probably be a custom order anyway, so there's no reason to post a price.
These were done with 151 teeth.

Get some dolovite iron for advanced sword cores and then some kammris ironand polysteel copper and your 2handedcurved swords whould get better. I know I can make 2.6 speed 60-245 2handedcurved swords with some decent recources of these. I would hold off on using nice loot until you get good resources, unless you just have to sell something and even then you cant charge as much as you might want.
Like for example I have some nice 72 damage krayt tissue that I want to put into scatters but I am waiting till I know I can make some nice advanced power handlers and know that the krayt tissue will not just make up for my lack of resources. You are doing good though adn keep up the good work.
I agree with the fact that resources are more important than using loot. For example, when I have 2x +100/+100 Looted Geo Sword cores and I want to make a Scythe, I have to have the best resources of the server for the creation of that scythe. So on Chimaera 896 SR Phrik Aluminium and 955 SR Carbonite Steel, the best spawed resources out here. When I would use 800 alu and 900 steel the scythe would loose like 20/20 damage and loose like 0.2 in speed and the Exeptional Sword Cores would go to waste.
So for using exeptional loot components that can make the weapon actually better, you must look at www.swgcraft.com for the best resources ever spawned.

These are with +151 teeth?
the stats are 3.9 25-275 for 800k
my standard, non-enhanced 2handed curved swords are 2.5 68-249. and they sell for 1k.
So you charge 799k more for 26pts more max damage, 43 pts LESS min damage, and 1.4 seconds slower?!?!?
Maybe I just don't get it.....
*shrug*
Okay chill your ars. This is an old post at this point and the prices were already adjusted and most have already sold. Iwas looking for friendly advice as I'm new to ws. I believed that sword is uncommon enough to merit the price. I was wrong. It sold for 500k. Most swordsman (masters) could care less about speed on our server as most are speed and accuracy capped. Its all about damage. This sword was not supposed to be used by a noob. Sure enough I have several very happy customers of these swords and want me to make more.
Also I was mistaken this particular sword was made with +76 teeth. The one I made with my +151 teeth was much higher.

I'm not going to knock your prices anymore.
I've since learned that weaponsmiths aren't charging what a weapon is worth, but what they think they can get for it.
If you feel the need to squeeze that much out of a person for a weapon like that, then so be it.
I craft exclusively for one person, now, since most players feel the need to charge (and also pay) outrageous prices for things.
When did weaponsmith become all about the money? Doesn't anyone feel the full satisfaction of crafting something beautiful and unique anymore, without worrying about how much they can make off theitem?
Everyone is entitled to make money, so they can buy nice things and do other stuff rather than just crafting all day long as a servant to the system.
Guess you missed that part....

U Bite! I started this thread because I didn't know how much to charge so I asked for input. I didn't ask to be flamed. In the initial post I included the original asking price that I THOUGHT IT WAS WORTH. I was off so I lowered the price. Yes I had great joy in crafting these items, but I also had the satisfaction of promising. Weaponsmith is a business and crafting profession. If your only crafting for one person then why are you even giving input to this thread.
BAH! now shut up u and leave this thread.
