Yes, with 3 or 4 of each iron spawning, chances are good that we will have some nice stuff pop ...but the important thing to note is WHAT IS NO LONGER PRESENT ....
Polymers are down to 3 per week
Inert Gas is down to 2 per week (sometimes 1)
Reactive Gas is down to 1 per week
Copper is 2-3 per week
Aluminum is 2 per week
Steel is 2-3 per week
Quality spawns of any of these will now be 4-6 months apart.
Fellows, think hard about what this means - this is the largest nerf to crafters yet ,,,, and no one is even complaining about it.
You will understand soon ... when the first mythra spawn you have seen in 4 months is 115 OQ, and you realize it may be 4 more months before it pops again.

I am really hoing it is JTL related and not a massive WS nerf. Maybe since it is similiar across the servers it is JTL.
Of course, nobody ever thought it would take them over a month to fix the POI spawning, and it is still not fixed.
We're doomed.

Yep. I have had actually 6 request for cleavers.
Although I have had more request to make a NS lance with a mind fire dot.
Some people.

Well I think we have our answer. The decline in spawns appears to be caused by the JTL minerals addition to the system. My assumption is that the spawn totals are finite, in order to make room for the JTL stuff, they had to remove some of the existing spawn.
I sure hope that everyone has millions of the named resources stashed, because they will be required to get you through those lean months when no spawns occur.
THe JTL minerals appear usable for the non-named requirements on the Noob weaponry, I tested a couple and verified that they are usable on the generic mineral requirement .... but the named stuff, of which Weaponsmith has the most, have been nerfed as a result.
Enjoy the nice iron spawn, and rejoice in the fact that you are not a new weaponsmith grinding his way to Master.

i disagree. corbantis had not had a good polonium iron or pumbnum iron spawn in months, i cant even find anything more then 100 conductivity anywhere on the whole server
im on corb we just had the 3 best ever plumbum spawns one of the best poloniums and last night the best doonium iron spawns....we had best axidite and dolovite in the last month or 2 and on a unrelated story we got our 998oq/975cd copper polysteelabout a month or so...2 days back got new best ranged mythra copper as well..... along with several other new server bests (1000oq and 999oq ore as well)...not sure but i think there has been an across the board increase in the # of max or near max spawns.

Yep,
We just had a number of great iron spawns also - but what would you expect ? Iron is now the most common mineral, before it was among the least common, it is obvious that increasing the number of irons will increase the number of good irons...
Iron has replaced gases, polymers, steel, aluminum, and coppers ... since the implementation of Publish 10, we have been starved of all the above. The current spawn on Bria, is the best we have seen since publish 10 - meaning, the most steels, coppers, and aluminums, are available - but for the 5 weeks prior, only 2 of each were available.
JTL minerals can be used in the ferrous and non-ferrous slots, as well as JTL steel can be used in any generic steel slot - the problem is all the dad-blasted named minerals we need, like mythra, codoan, polysteel, desh, platinite ....these are ones that now spawn with much less frequency.
Slurp those awesome irons - but at the same time remember that you are running out of platinite copper....
