No it wasn't, I took that screenshot...that rifle is mine. If you know of those BH missions....they drop really nice power cells...that rifle was made with 186 dam power cells. He drank bespine port for every point he made...he even waited 30 minutes so he can continue the craft. This isn't an exploit...I just found it out, thanks for your reply's

the weapon crafted in question was done on my server.....when i was told about this I asked how since we all know that once cap is met it will not go further.....first thing that came to mind was that there was a new way to double slice somehow......im still trying to see why this weapon came out the way it did.....i used a looted 191 power cell on my WS and made a scatter just to see if i could exceed wep cap....i reached cap with 4 open slots left...when i kept pumping it in to the remaining slots the damage did not move.....so obviously this weapon is bugged or the WS in question is somehow manupulating the slicing......either way this would steal business from all the weaponsmiths on the server and think this needs to be addressed....the question now is should i report this or let it slide and watch my WS business go down the drain because this guy can do this?

For one thing, the Weapon is above the crafting damage cap of 1150 even if we subtract the 4% damage slice
1171 + 4% = 1218 so the crafted weapon should have been 1171 max dam wich is not possible
the second thing is, that any HLR with 1144 or more max damage cannot be sliced because of the slicing cap
If you ask me this weapon is either a fake or there is a new bug in the system like double slicing or sth like that!
Personally I would like to see a greater variation of weapon stats but definately not by bugusing
Of course you shouldnt let it slide. Would be nice to get the guy on here to explain what happened as it just seems very very strange that it has exceeded cap. Unlees there still is critical succesed and they can go over cap (which I somehow doubt) this indeed seems to be exploited.
Some Dev clearification would be nice weahter its to say this is not intended or that this is a rare occurance that we all have a possibility to obtain if we are lucky enough

Did anyone consider he got that oh so rare critical success on assembly?
all of his weapons he is crafting are turning out like this.....its not critical assembly every weapon
Exactly. If this was legitimately crafted the WS would probably want as much publicity as possible. Either the screenie has been manipulated or there's something very fishy going on.

Why do people block out the creator and serial#.
Smells like an exploit to me. They don't want their precious gun deleted.
best i made with 194 tissues was 1150max 82 sac
definately looks odd, above weapon had to have a 100% speed enhancement.
could be a bug in subcomponentsmaufacture whereby its not taken into consideration in final craft but exeeds the cap? iunno im just trying to find a plausable explanation without accusing one of our flock of exploiting
"Seems you could get results like this if you were still able to slice items with a powerup on them andit would also stand to reason the same exploit would allow you to break the cap since you arent supposed to be able to slice weapons with powerups anymore."
I thought about this yesterday and the math still dont add up.
Inefficient elemental pup will decrease the damage by 29% so lets run the numbers:
Capped damage of 1150with Pup is 1150 / 1.29 = 891
Apply 4% slice891 * 1.04= 927
Remove PuP = 927* 1.29 = 1196
Thats using a 4% slice like the screenshot. An 8% slice would give 1241.
The min on this weapon is astronimical too. This weapon just didnt right.
My guessit is a multiple slice exploit probably still involving a PuP rather than a crafting a error but frankly i can tell.
or just query the item table for unpowered up stats above the cap?

why should the oh so rare critical assembly effect the slicing cap?
why is the object creator removed from the pics?
