Thread: trando rifle schematic ?

I'd like to ask a couple of questions about that rifle if you don't mind...
Is the sound on the crafted version different from the looted one I already have?
Another thing is that I've been looking on the bazaar, some of the trandoshan rifles there have blast damage as opposed to energy. What's the difference? I haven't been able to find out for sure what blast damage does post-CU.
Last thing is, what makes the craftedrifle stand out from the regular ones? What justifies the steep price?
I appreciate any and all answers, don't want to shell out my hard earned dough on something stupid =)

Yes. Once you learn it, you can make as many as you want as long as you have the trandoshan barrel and other subs.

Is it just the BlackScale NPCs or any of the Trando NPCs in the house, also, are these randon drops from them, or is there a particular NPC that drops them. Does the location in the house matter.

update if anyone is interested, I went with a group to the house loot in Keren and we killed trandos for 4.5 hours and got only 1 rifle barrel. We did get some other stuff, but mostly worthless. The drop rate on these things is unbelievable slow, so if you are thinking you can just run in and pick up a few, forget it.

I think the drop rate on the Avatar is pretty poor also

I think the drop rate on the Avatar is pretty poor also
3 trips to the platform, 3 complete Blackscale exterminations, 3 looted barrels. That's a whole lotta NPCs per trip for an average of 1 barrel each go.
