On subcomponents I put 8 points into SAC and keep trying until I get an amazing success...this brings SAC to -8. Then I put the remaining four points into speed (again, I keep trying until I get amazing succeses on both parts). On the final combine I max out damage and put the rest (usually 2 or 3 points) into speed. I find this is a good balance between damage, speed and SAC for most purposes. Naturally I'll go all DPS or all SAC if someone wants a custom weapon made that way. And always put a stock on a weapon that'll take one. My 2 creds.

Here's a little FYI, people buy both
.
I am still selling 95SAC FWG5 Featherweights at 800max dmg (313DPS) at 350k, however slower than before. I did some runs of adv laser rifle 1000max 82 SAC selling for 200k, and 887max 73sac selling for 100k each (I should raise price cause they are selling so fast). The rifle's dps is only 275 and Elite's is 266. My next run on pistols will probably be for a lower SAC probably wait for an amazing and get it down to 85 or 86.
