Thread: ARE GORAXES DROPPING SHARDS again ?

I've kill about 40 gorax since pub 19 on ahazi on my BH/CM and haven't looted a single set of shards...it's terrible. I think they're broke. Looted 4 delicate trigger mechanisms. Gave up hope of an uber tusken for now *kisses his czerka carbine*.

Killed 8 gorax night before last.
Looted 2 different sets of shards. (one at 87 max dmg *forgot the speed* and one at 113 max dmg *seems like -.46 speed*)
They're dropping. Didn't get any off of either of the two I killed last night, but it was late and I was too tired to keep hunting.

83 if I remember correctly and yeah with root or snare they are easily soloed

You can solo it also with a combo of CM / melee or Doctor / melee. Doctor / pikeman can do the trick
I just looted 3 x 176 damage bones in Radiant... yay 
(I did not solo this time, I was with my wife and a friend... 1 featherweight each has been the deal)

as a cm/bh pistoleer 0/1/0/3 I soloed 23 a few nights ago.
1/9 drops for bones is about right.
best I have looted is 181 max, -.37 speed. best i have heard of is 191 max -.54 speed
I have an inventory full of delicate trigger mechs
killed 8 krayt 2 pearls (meh) 1 mando frame (cool deco) no tissue

A little tip in hunting the gorax.
Head north of the smuggler outpost into the desert and create the following macro..
/tar gorax;
/macro findmeagorax;
turn on the macro and start running aimlessly thru the desert. This guarantees you won't accidently miss a spawn. Although they are pretty hard to miss anyways hehe. Lots of luck.

Another 10 down since pub 19 and no shards, thats over 50 now with no shards, looted 5 trigger mechanism thingies. Argh.

Was bored last night, went to my favorite gorax hunting grounds, killed 3 looted 2 gorax shards +142 dmg, forgot the rest. All in all, ive seen better, but i was happy, I will craft up 2 FWG tonight and see what they look like. This was on sunrunner server BTW.

I think the drop rate on krayts are worse
Since they introduced the slicing loot, the droprate of tissues have become insanely low
