How many uses does a scythe schematic carry?

How many uses does a Geo sword core schematic carry?

5 as I recall, but you can make manufacturing scematics from these, so no biggie

What's the difference between white, yellow and green cubes?

Better stats, white is base, and as I recall the red are the best, but don't quote me.

What are good/poor values for these?

Hmmmm, maybe someone else can answer that one, all I've come across are the white, poor me.

Is it possible/worth itto use Geo Sword Cores in normal fencer swords (I have a fencer buddy and would like to give him a gift if possible)?

For the most part, no, most of the advanced crafted sword cores I've made are better than the Geonosian ones.

And finally, what are Reinforcement cores used for?

They will be used in the as yet unrevealed Executioner's Hack from what I have read in the forums.

So what you'll need for a custom scythe:

3 Identical Geonosian Cubes (1 for the schematic and2 for the actual crafted sword cores)

2 Identical Geonosian Cubes for the Scythe

1 Geonosian Sword Core Schematic

1Scythe Schematic.

Or if you want to use looted sword cores, which generally aren't as good as the crafted Geonosian sword cores:

2 identical looted sword cores (same serial number)

2 Identical Geonosian Cubes for the Scythe

1 Scythe Schematic

Did I answer everything?

Hiya

How many uses does a scythe schematic carry?
-- Just the two , each will require two geono sword cores so it is not usual to factory these because you would need atleast 6 identical cores to make it worth it.

How many uses does a Geo sword core schematic carry?
-- Five, again these need cubes and optional pastes. You must factory these as the cores must be identical for the scythe. You will therefor need at least 3 cubes and 3 pastes. The very best you can hope for is getting 10 cores from one charge of the schem (11 cubes and pastes).

What's the difference between white, yellow and green cubes?
--White is plain with no bonuses.
Yellow has a bonus to damage between +10 and about +25. Higher is rarer.
Red gives a bonus for encumberance (specials HAM cost).
Green is a bonus for condition, but it doesn't matter for Scythes.
...go with yellow.

What are good/poor values for these?
--The cubes? Not sure, except for yellow (10-25)

Is it possible/worth it to use Geo Sword Cores in normal fencer swords (I have a fencer buddy and would like to give him a gift if possible)?
--Yes, but be sure they are better than the regular adv. cores first (ask your WS for a comparison).

And finally, what are Reinforcement cores used for?
--Nothing special yet. But if created with agents they will be better than the player made adv cores and so are good for regular blunt type weapons like the stun baton etc.

Just as a final note. The decision to use cores from a schem or from a whole loot drop will depend on what you loot. I have seen stats on looted cores that are beyond any combination of cubes and agents. These looted cores also bring bonuses to speed which the schem made cores cannot. To date the best scythe I have ever made used a set of looted cores with +80 damage and -0.8 speed.

There's a loot thread pinned to the top of this forum that describes what each color cube does.

Yellow adds damage

Red lower HAM costs

Green increases integrity

White does nothing, but since a cube is required for the cores, it can be used in place of a stat modifying cube

Paste increases damage and integrity and is an optional component

For max damage, yellow cube and paste

For max weapon condition, green and paste

You almost definitely want your cores made with paste.

Forgot to mention: Since the paste will be required for the core schematic, you'll need a minimum of 3 identical pastes.

I've read, though cannot confirm, that green cubes do not add condition for Scythes, because the sword core doesn't have a Condition attribute that can be transferred to the final weapon. Scythes have pretty good condition to start with anyways. IMO, your best bet is yellow+solidifying agentfor max damage or red+agent for some added damage and lower HAM.

Thanks very much

Paste is the one thing I have. Now it's just the cubes...

Looks like everything is covered here... just some fyi... in my experience crafting Scythes using yellow cubes for damage and the paste of course, My scythes still end up around the mid 900's in condition... so I have to agree that using green cubes in cores is a complete waste, better off to use the yellows for adding damage, after all every point of damage helps

Hey guys...have a newb question for ya.

Can a stun baton be created with both ackley bones AND Krayt tissues, or are tissues even an option in its creation?

Thanks,

Krayt tissue goes in the Blaster Power Handler.

A stun baton does not use a BPH, so no krayt.

Yes on the acklay, no on the Krayt tissue. Krayt tissue goes in blaster power handlers that are used in certain ranged weapons.
