So you just paid about 23mil...

23 million, maybe... I don't know... All I know is: I spent about 30 million to get one gun. yeah, I can make some more to offset the cost but thats not really the point /chuckle

and who knows how many hours to make a pistol that any good WS could make?

Strange how you act like these are easy to make or no big deal. I looked on bllodfin bazaar search and found 161 featherweights for 1 million or more (did not bother to look at the cheaper ones).

Not one of them were as good as mine. Sure, there were some very, very nice stats but mine beat all of them out by something. Only two WS (on bazaar search) looked like they could have made what I made with another "amazing" or slightly better resources, very slight. All the others were real good but lacking something. Mostly the PRECU scope. I know, thats not fair to judge their weapons that way since you can't really get them anymore... nebaf' was one of the WS I took notice of. I can't remember the other guys name. Maybe curt???

I guess you are not a good WS then. I looked at the 6, or 7, featherweights you had on your vendor for 2.75 million (yes, I do have that much time on my hands lol) and all of them were sub par for *elite* weapons. You are not even close to the top WS on the Bloodfin bazaar search...
Looks like you used the right stuff but did not really know what to experiment on.

Instead of cutting me down, maybe you should ask how I made these so you can improve your product. Mine blows yours away and we used very similar resources/components. Wrap your head around that one, for a spell

You are right about my server, though. At least from my research. Bloodfin's bazaar search had about 10 times the featherweights, quality ones, that is, than its peer Gorath. Gorath has about 10 or 20 decent fw's with only a couple being very nice, last time I checked, anyways.

how much for server best resources?

About 6 million give or take. I had to buy big stacks for some because thats all that was available. CPU was up there on some of them and others were real cheap. I got a couple "best spawns" in 100k stacks for 2cpu and others were 40+.

Kobb wrote:

oh, also what she said...You paid 200k for grinding resources ...

Total xp to master WS is about 917k

I crafted about half of that with pistol barrels then realized rifle barrels give about twice the xp.

These totals are from the top of my head. Could be off by a number, here or there, but my point is still illistrated...

8818 pistol barrels = 458500 xp
26 units per barrel = 52xp
about 229268 units were used

4878 rifle barrels = 458500 xp
46 units per barrel = 94xp
about 224388 units were used

I purchased five 100k stacks of steel

1 cpu * 500,000 = 500k credits

A vendor search for "steel" with a min/max price of 100k turned up more than enough steel on Gorath... I looked on the Bloodfin Bazaar and found no steel for 1cpu but I found lots of 100k stacks of copper, aluminum, and just about all other resources for 1cpu... Lots of it... Have a look for yourself.

I made generic crafting tools to get to 4040 artisan so that ate up some resources too but not many. I had about 5k steel left when it was all over...

Summerflame -

This is not the very first gun I made. I made about 30 standard fwg5's for testing. I played around with resources to see what effects they had. A previos querry, of mine, led to some conflicting information and I needed to sort it with some scientific tests. I also ran tests on the components, experimented differently, to see what effect they had on the final combine. Luckily, it was not that complicated. Everything turned out pretty sensible. I hope the other weapons have some sort of twist in the algorithms used. I bet they are all cookie cutter, though... It might get boring if all weapons have the same math behind them.

BTW - I used 181 casing on this. If I use one of the 184's I just purchased, ---TRIPPLE CAP--- with low speed and high AC Now that's worthy of an ADK, I rekon...

Just a slight note. The scope you used are seems not to be Pre CU, but Pre publish 23. They were looted from BH Targets.

Triple capping is very hard and I dont believe it has been done yet (before slicing at least). Remember the number is one digital off on components

I think he means capping wound, dmg, SAC. I dont think he knows quite yet that wound doesnt count

I know of one fellow on my server who knows what he is doing but he showed no interest in the trade forums... i know there must be a few on Gorath. I just could not find them through simple means. I don't want people to think I am putting down the WS on my server (I know thats not what you are saying to me ) it was just not like it used to be a year ago. back then, and before that, finding top notch crafters was real easy. Now, crafters are sortof rare /cry I'm not sure what happened since I have been gone for so long...

I know wound does'nt really count... but I'm counting it anyways lol

Pre23 scopes eh? Good to know.

Ya, I am going to make one one with damage capped too. No matter how many RC's I have to burn through(unless I go broke lol)

I don't think FW's are a waste of adk's. We have to use them on something. I have 11 of them. I also have a ubuse shirt, ubese bandoleir, and a marbari belt all with no condition. I got all the +25 skill tapes to max my template. I just need to make my adk guns so I can battle with no worries. Gonna make a ALR next, then a czerka as soon as I get a stack of 6...

Thanks for the kind replies. It made the 30 million hit feel a bit softer

I had a good time for two weeks with this, except for the grind. I did not think crafting could be enjoyable anymore but I was mistaken. I reactivated my main account because my son wanted to see some grauls and what not. I thought I would be in for a month then out again. Does not look that way now. I have both my old accounts running and my new account for WS. I guess I am in deep agian lol between hunting jedi and crafting weapons, I think I just may work in that new cpu chair for a few months. My wife is pretty upset She thought I was out for good last time I quit.

Off to make my ALR now.

Back in 2003, everybody said "just hang in there for a while, all the bugs will be fixed and the game will move out of the BETA stage"

Sadly, the game has regressed to ALPHA... What will it be in another 2 years? It will be gone...

Feather FWGs are a waste of an ADK. With RCs now very common they are easy to make (double capped at least). Double capped with speed under 2.0 go for hardly more than a million now.

Ah but remember that the pre-nerf scopes aren't that common anymore and go for alot. Eventually that supply with dwindle out as well.
