Thread: UPDATE ON KRAYT TISSUE POST CU

A friend was testing pistoleer on TC-Corbantis and teamed up with another pistoleer. They were working together to kill Ancients less then 2 days ago. He claimed the Ancients were dieing faster then then regulars did to our normal stacker plus 2 rifleman team. He also said juves were like killing worts outside eisley. Wasn't there supposed to be some kind of balanceing comeing out of this CU?

Osav Master Slacker(currently MRifleman/MCombatMedic only cause I couldnt find anything I liked with rifleman and ran out of respecs and I was forced to a double combat mastery in the CU when I did just fine with just MRifleman pre CU lol )

you guys need to read the whole thread before posting. krayt levels and damage are bugged atm and will likely be hitting for as much or more damage then a GKD (2.7k)

I seriously doubt that, 3k health is max, i dont think they will be having creatures one-shotting players, you could never take one down if that was the case

I posted that message concerning the Krayt yesterday (Tues) and I think I checked the Krayts out on Sunday. I didnt read anything about re-balancing so I could be mistaken but I did even bother try to take on a lvl 300+ given that being his by a Tusken Observer by a SINGLE shot incapped be as he did 5000 damage. He was level 200.


Please correct me with any updates as I will more than happy to be corrected as I just found the whole experience depressing.


Also, there were 3 of us trying to take down a level 109 a force sensitive NPC near the Dant MO. It a while, but eventually we all died. He was only level 109!! We all had crafted weapons that were 50% better than the frog weapons.


Still, we will see what happens when it actually goes live.

When did they get un-balanced? On TCEp3 I was seeing juvies at 120 and their canyon krayt companions at 275.

When did they get nerfed?

imo krayts should be hard to kill, but the loot rate high and the worth of the tissues high too. Nobody will hunt higher end content if its not worth it.

you're kidding right? My pre-CU tank could solo all Krayts. It was just a matter of time to get past 95% resists. With a Jedi we could take out an Ancient in well under 10 minutes. I could kill a Juvie in under 1 minute.





And this is one of the reasons for the revamp. You weren't supposed to be able to solo one.


SBD @ 81 is pretty good compared to where they used to be, although I wouldn't mind seeing them brought down at least 1 level.


I do think that Kimo's hitting that high is either a bug or not a 'balanced' figure (as in, will be changed), unless they were doing this to single masters or players with no armor (there's a rumor going around that armor doesn't work all the time). It sounds morelike what Krayts should be doing to people.

What difference does that make?





#1, it means that the devs tell him things they don't tell you. #2, it means he plays the game as a job, and not just as fun. Corrs (anda handfull of players) have been doingthe brunt of the testing since the revamp hit TC. More often than not, they speak out of experience.


If the Kimos and Krayts are bugged (and they are), it means they haven't been ballanced. If they haven't been ballanced, than there's nothing to keep them from waxin your arse in one shot.


Once the balancing is finished, the difference in defenses and armors will mean a difference between what a oneshot incap is for one person, and what it is for the next. Just because something hits a TKM/BH for 800 points of damage doesn't mean it won't waxa fencer/rifleman in one shot.
