They sell. You need to be stocked though, because people will often buy a pileof the same item. I offer 5-packs in crates for people who want to roll the bones themselves on the slices.
I sell both...
Sliced for those who know up-front what they're getting and recocgnize a killer deal on a 29% dmg slice
(I sell all weapons with >30% slices for anominal, flatslice markup)
and then crates those who would rather blow twice as much cash buying 10looking for that +30% slice.

In my time on Galaxies, I've bought only a few pre-sliced weapons.
5 or 6 power hammers, (before I found a hammer that had -20 to range, and not -45)
and 5 scatter pistols. for grinding Bounty-hunter and pistoleer.
I always buy unsliced, or bring an ass-load of components to the weaponsmith, have them make me something above-average, then have my guild WS slice it, (mad props to both kali'ma and Gallant)
I've been EXTREMELY lucky so far, i've always gotten the slice I wanted, save once, where I had two power hammers, one sliced damage to 517, one got sliced speed to 1.x.
Speed sliced to 1.x?A 35% speed slice on 5.3 seconds is 3.4, so I'm curious how that happened.

True, but I discount crates because it saves me time. I don't have to break a crate out into 25 individual items and then list them all. It's just one listing, clean and simple. ::shrug:: It's a lot easier to drop 4 crates on a vendor than itis to crack them open and list 100 items, so I give a 10% discount to encourage people to buy by the crate. Less headache for me.

I don't. I'm not Sam's Club. It doesn't cost me less to make crates, it costs me MORE.

I have also never sold sliced weapons, and I do a pretty steady business. I recently started selling weapons of all kinds by-the-crate, and that has worked out VERY well. You'd be surprised to see what other weapons you'll sell crates of besides PHs, VKs, and C12s.
do you discount the crates at all?
I don't. I'm not Sam's Club. It doesn't cost me less to make crates, it costs me MORE.
lol my thoughts exactly.

I also sell lots of weapons by the crate. Vks tend to sell great doing this. Sold 40 crates of vks in about 2 weeks and customers love being able to just buy crates of 25 and pull one out when they need it.

I dont like to buy weapons that are already sliced. Maybe its cause I am a master smuggler. To me its a waste to sell them sliced cause you have to keep the crappy slices and its the job of the customer to get the slice and hunt for the best weapon possible.
