The kind of stats you will be looking for on a starter t21 is low speed and med damage if you can get it. Because you will not be shooting very fast you can afford to have relatively high ham costs, so don't worry about that too much. I would look for damage ranging from 340-390 and a speed of 7.8 or lower, lower if possible and if you get a speed slice at starter level its actually a good thing. Just add a 33% damage powerup and enjoy. Once you start to get higher up, especially at master level, it will all be about the damage and possibly ham, at master you want the highest damage you can get, speed becomes a non factor and ham is just an inconveniance. If you get a rifle with a stock you will be looking at a higher damage figure but the ham costs rise at the same time so keep an eye on that one. Good luck gun hunting!

Anyone on Sunrunner making t21's?I also hit novice rifleman recently, so I'll need good speed(and possibly sliced?)And can anyone recommend what tree i should go up first?

mines at 177-499 at 7.2 speed.

lol, I can't even imagine those stats anymore. A laser rifle is worthless unless it's 500+ on damage. And hitting for almost 1k? lol. My 750 max damage T21 inhilates that.
