Thread: Does Skill tape points stack with the Research Center 15% bonus?
i hope research centers dont work ever!!! That would make me have to move out yoa player city to stay in business and i really like where i live atm.

Our next city update takes place in the wee hours of Saturday morning. Hopefully I'll be able to do some tests and see whether or not it truly takes a week for the specialization to kick in or not... provided I can see any discernible differences at all.
I look forward to the information. Thanks.

Anyone else have anything to add to this? Tests, observations, etc?
Same thing as the other guy said. I've gotten more Amazing Successes inthe few daysI've worked in a Research Center than I have in the entire month of November.
Moderate successes are still present. If I'd have to put a number on it, I'd say I get 20% fewer moderates and Amazing Successes are doubled.
Well, it's official. At best, this specialization improves the results of your experimentation rolls (more great successes or whatever). I haven't noticed a difference, as I still get failures and moderate successes. I do seem to get more amazings, but it's still pretty inconsistent.
What a waste of 125k.
It takes me less time to make a perfect sub part with this bonus.
Krayt guns sell for 100k to millions on my server. Now with this bonus one in 25 guns comes out lousy instead of one in 12. When I mess up a gun that could have sold for 600k and now I have to sell for 300k cuz the spd and damage where hurt so bad by 2 or 3 moderates it just saved me 300k or more when this happens less. Any master who makes Krayt weapons would gladly pay this out of his own pocket for the people of his own city. Gladly...

Yeah, I agree, this specialization is a godsend for Krayt Weaponsmiths.
Though we're not the only ones who are affected by this. It's extremely helpful to Doctors who need to make a few buffpacks on-the-fly and don't want to waste hours just trying to make a couple decent ones. Pretty nice for Armorsmiths too, who are in the same "make schematic over and over until it's perfect" boat.
